Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Transfer from Delhi to Manali
- Arrival at Delhi.
- Overnight journey to Manali by a Volvo bus.
Day 2 Arrival at Manali
- Arrival at Manali.
- Transfer to hotel for breakfast.
- Spend the day at leisure.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 Transfer to Kaza
- After breakfast, drive to Kaza.
- Stay at the base camp site (at 3680m) post arrival.
- Day at leisure for acclimatization with the low atmospheric pressure because of the high altitude of Ladakh.
- Overnight stay and dinner at camp.
Day 4 Transfer to Kibber
- After breakfast, drive to Key Monastery and Kibber village.
- Back to the camp for lunch in the afternoon.
- Drive to the village of Langza (situated at an altitude of 4400m) post lunch.
- Overnight stay and dinner in camp at Kibber.
Day 5 Transfer to Kowmik
- After breakfast, trek from Langza to Kowmik village (4.5kms away) through the fossil park.
Average trekking time is 3 to 4 hours. - Overnight stay and dinner in the camp.
Day 6 Transfer to Demul
- Trek from Kowmik to Demul village (4.35 kms away).
Average trekking time is 5 to 6 hrs. - En route walk over the Chemai Lepcha Pass (4700mts) and get a good view of the peaks in Spiti Valley.
Enjoy the Bharal or Blue sheep sightings which are common in the area. - Overnight stay and dinner at camp.
Day 7 Transfer to Lahlung
- Trek from Demul to Lahlung Village (3.75kms away).
- Cross the village of Salung (3.6kms). Be careful as the route has a steep descent.
- Arrival at Lahlung.
- Overnight stay and dinner in the camp.
Day 8 Transfer to Dhankar
- Trek from Lahlung to Dhankar village (3.78kms away )
- Average trekking time is 4 to 5hrs.
The trek from Lahlung to Dhankar is relatively an easy walk. - Visit the Dhankar Lake which is about 2 hrs walk from the village( depending upon the choice of participants).
- Overnight stay and dinner in the camp.
Day 9 Transfer to Kaza
- Visit the Tabo Monastery and return to the base camp in Kaza by a drive.
- Camp fire in the evening.
- Overnight stay and dinner at camp.
Day 10 Transfer to Manali
- After breakfast we leave for Manali.
- Spend the evening at leisure.
- Overnight stay and dinner at the hotel.
Day 11 Transfer from Manali To Delhi
- Day at leisure.
- Overnight journey to Delhi in the evening.
Day 12 Departure from Delhi
- Departure from Delhi for the onward journey.
Package Policies
- 2 nights accommodation on triple share at Manali.
- 7 nights accommodation on triple share basis in tents/homestays.
- Meals (vegetarian) starting from dinner on day 1 to dinner on day 11.
- Pit toilet tents/local Spitian tents during the trek.
- Transfer by 2 x 2 Volvo from Delhi to Manali and back.
- Services of a well trained local mountain guide and a trail guide from Spiti.
- Internal transfers during the tour as per itinerary.

- All currently applicable taxes.
- The trek is graded as moderate on a well-defined trail, but it is advisable that the participant has been to the Himalayas before and has done a trek in the Himalayas.
- The person should have a good degree of physical fitness.
- It is imperative that the participant acclimatizes well before embarking on the journey to Kaza, so it is important that the person stays in Manali for at least a day before coming to Kaza.
- You will be walking over 4000 mts and staying in one of the Highest inhabitable villages of the world so it is important that you acclimatize very well.
- Consumption of alcohol strictly prohibited.
- Cost based on Minimum 10 persons.
- Departures subject to a minimum no. of participants respectively.
- Rates are valid for Indian nationals.
- Age group 15 yrs and above.
- The Trek itinerary is subject to change at the discretion of the organizers.
- If a Participant drops out while on the trek, due to sickness or any other reason there will be NO REFUND.
- In case of natural calamities/snow conditions, the tour escort holds all rights to change/curtail/alter the program at the last minute.
- The organizer will try to cover all places in this event. In such cases, if any incidental costs are incurred, all participants need to contribute for the same.
- Participants are requested to be fit as there are long journeys involved throughout the trip.
- Train or airfare to Delhi.
- Any entrances fees.
- Any personal expenses like telephone calls, laundry, mineral water, etc.
- Any expense other than mentioned in inclusions list.

The booking and arrangements initially was excellent. Reeta was contacting me almost daily to assist me and finalise my itenerary. She also accommodated my pref (Read More)erred hotel requests. I then made payment ,on 7 October 2024. Since then Reeta has stopped communicating. She however did ask her office to send me internal travel arrangements (after I requested the details) and I have since only had communications from Nikhil from her office.
I just feel that I should have been advised by Reeta, that after initial sale by her , I will be handed over to her office admin for ongoing communication. Then I would understand. Otherwise I just felt neglected.
Hope it all starts and ends well. I only arrive in Mumbai on 11/11/2024. But still dont know who will meet me at airport.

Anoj has organised our tour to Delhi, Rishikesh, Harithwar with Golden Traigle then To Kerala very well . He has customised our need to go smoothly. We had to (Read More)make last minute adjustments to previous itinerary due to other couple needs in Kerala and Mr Anoj Verma was extremely helpful in dropping us at different locations even after completing the tour. He was extremely taking care of us both during and after tour till be back homebooking new flights and changing ousightseeing. He also personally met us at the airport and facilitated transfers to our hotel in Delhi. Our guides for both cities and driver for the trip were also very helpful and always punctual. Conveyance arranged was also comfortable. We found Sulekha tours to be a good fit for our traveling party of 6 and would definitely recommend them. All hotels were 4+ star rated and the guides are well knowledgeable and very fluent in English. They have provided well history of each places before we entered into the monuments. The drivers are also very pleasant and very punctual and went with us without any complaints. I will recommend Sulekha Tours for anyone who wants customised tour wherever is needed.
