Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival at Darjeeling
- Pick it up from NJP Railway Station/IXB Airport and transfer to Darjeeling.
- On arrival, check in to the hotel.
- Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
- Check-in at the hotel and enjoy a welcome drink along with honeymoon room decoration.
- Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 2 Darjeeling Sightseeing
- Early morning (at 4.00 AM), drive to Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga.
- On your way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.
- After breakfast, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ava Art Gallery, and Japanese Temple (4 hrs from 9.00 to 13.00 hrs).
- Evening at leisure, shopping, or taking a romantic walk.
- Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 3 Darjeeling to Gangtok
- After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Gangtok.
- On arrival at Gangtok, visit Gangtok Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms, Research Institute of Tibetology, Chorten (Stupa), Flower Show, Ranka Monastery, View Point and Botanical Garden.
- Enjoy a romantic candlelight dinner at the hotel.
- Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 4 Gangtok to Lachung
- After breakfast, pick up from the hotel and drive to Lachung.
- Enroute visit Tashi Viewpoint, Kabi Lungstok, Naga Waterfalls, the confluence of Lachen Chu and Lachung Chu at Chungthang, Twin Waterfalls and Bhim Nala Waterfalls.
- Stop for lunch at Namok.
- Check-in at the hotel and enjoy a relaxing couple's spa session.
- Arrival at Lachung by evening.
- Dinner and overnight stay at Lachung.
Day 5 Lachung to Yumthang
- After breakfast, leave for Yumthang.
- On the way you may visit the famous Hot Springs.
Yumthang is a large valley surrounded by mountains where the tree line ends. In April, May and June, the valley erupts in a riot of colours as Rhododendrons, Primulae and many other Alpine Flowers. In the winter months, Yumthang is somber with snow all around. - Return to Lachung for lunch.
- After lunch, visit Lachung Monastery, Cottage Industry and Waterfalls.
- Dinner will be served at the hotel.
Day 6 Lachung to Gangtok
- After breakfast, leave for Gangtok.
- On the way, stop at Singhik, Mangan, and (if the weather is clear) enjoy a view of the Kanchenjunga Range.
This location offers a majestic view of Mt. Pandim, Mt. Kabru, Mt. Simvo, Mt. Jopuno, Mt. Kanchenjunga, and Mt. Siniolchu. - Stay at Gangtok.
Day 7 Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir
- After breakfast, start an excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir, 55 kms from Gangtok city.
- Enjoy a romantic boat ride on the lake (subject to weather conditions).
- Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 8 Departure from Gangtok
- After breakfast, check-out from the hotel on time.
- Drop to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport for your onward journey.
- Sikkim Package for Couple comes to and end.
