Day 1: Arrival at Darjeeling
  • Pickup from NJP Railway Station/IXB Airport by our representative and transfer to Darjeeling.
  • On arrival check-in to hotel.
  • Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
  • Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
  • Early morning (at 4.00 AM) drive to Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga.
  • On your way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.
  • After breakfast, visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed) Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ava Art Gallery and Japanese Temple (4 hrs from 9.00 to 13.00 hrs).
  • Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
  • After breakfast at hotel, transfer to Gangtok.
  • On arrival at Gangtok, visit Gangtok Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms, Research Institute of Tibetology, Chorten (Stupa), Flower Show, Ranka Monastery,View Point and Botanical Garden.
  • Overnight stay at Gangtok.
  • After breakfast, pickup from the hotel and drive to Lachung.
  • Enroute visit Tashi Viewpoint, Kabi Lungstok, Naga Waterfalls, the confluence of Lachen Chu and Lachung Chu at Chungthang, Twin Waterfalls and Bhim Nala Waterfalls.
  • Stop for lunch at Namok.
  • Arrival at Lachung by evening.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Lachung.
  • After breakfast, leave for Yumthang.
  • On the way you may visit the famous Hot Springs.
    Yumthang is a large valley surrounded by mountains where the tree line ends. In April, May and June, the valley erupts in a riot of colours as Rhododendrons, Primulae and many other Alpine Flowers. In the winter months, Yumthang is somber with snow all around.
  • Return to Lachung for lunch.
  • After lunch, visit Lachung Monastery, Cottage Industry and Waterfalls.
  • Dinner will be served at the hotel.
  • After breakfast, leave for Gangtok.
  • On the way, stop at Singhik, Mangan and (if the weather is clear) enjoy a view of the Kanchenjunga Range.
    This location offers a majestic view of Mt. Pandim, Mt. Kabru, Mt. Simvo, Mt. Jopuno, Mt. Kanchenjunga and Mt. Siniolchu.
  • Stay at Gangtok.
  • After breakfast, start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir which is 55 kms from Gangtok city.
  • Overnight stay at Gangtok.
  • After breakfast, check-out from the hotel on time.
  • Drop to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport for your onward journey.
