Day 1 Arrive in Srinagar
  • On arrival at Srinagar airport, our representative will meet and pick you up for transfer to the hotel.
  • Welcome to Srinagar, the Lake City. Begin the tour of 'Exotic Kashmir.
  • After some rest, leave for a sightseeing tour of Mughal Gardens, visiting Cheshmashahi (the royal spring ), Nishat (the garden of pleasure ), Shalimar (the abode of love), and Pari Mahal.
  • Dinner & overnight in Hotel at Srinagar
  • After breakfast, transfer to Gulmarg for a day trip via Tangmarg.
  • Please note that if there is heavy snow, a chained vehicle will have to be hired from Tanmarg to Gulmarg & inside transfers in Gulmarg on a direct payment basis.
  • In Gulmarg, visit Khilanmarg and ride in the world's highest cable car, "Gondola", or enjoy your day playing golf on the world’s highest golf course.
  • Return to Srinagar in the evening after enjoying your day.
  • Overnight stay at Srinagar.
  • After breakfast, proceed to the Shikara and ride on dal lake for an hour to experience the inner parts of Dal Lake.
  • Take a short trip to Pahalgam in the afternoon.
  • En route to visit the world-famous Saffron growing fields. Pahalgam is famous for the Indian film industry, some trekking routes & also a base camp for the Amarnath pilgrimage.
  • Dinner and night stay at a Hotel in Srinagar
  • After breakfast, check out from Houseboat & proceed to Srinagar airport to board the flight for onward destination.

I was quite concerned about my kids 1 year and 4 year old but travgen made it ea (Read More)sy for us. The people in travgen, no matter it was Ms Samreen who planned our itenaries from Day 1 to Day 5 or our cab driver Tawseef bhai who took our to different places, all were quite helpful. Travgen is srinagar based so that's one of prominent benefit, so if they know each and every places in detail, when to go and what to avoid n all. Also there were no last minute surprises till Day 5 unlike other platforms. So if you are concerned and planning for a kashmir trip the Travgen is the best option.

The hotels provided were very good, and our taxi driver, Mr. Nawaz bhai, was a great person with a friendly demeanor. He provided helpful advice for navigating local areas, including tips on where to go and how to bargain for pony rides. His guidance was especially valuable for our trip to Gulmarg, where he advised us to walk to the gondola ride station to avoid local vendors who aggressively try to sell auto or horse rides.
