Day 1 Arrive in Guwahati - Transfer to Shillong

  • Visit Umiam Lake, a majestic placid lake.
  • On arrival at Shillong, check in to your hotel and get settled in.
  • Evening free for leisure.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.
  • After breakfast, set out to visit Cherrapunjee.
  • Visit the Ramkrishna School and Museum, Eco Park and Mawsmai caves.
  • Enjoy watching the various waterfalls.
  • Return to Shillong.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel in Shillong.
  • After breakfast, move to Laitlum Canyons and enjoy the natural beauty.
  • Move on to Krang Suri Falls.
  • You can choose to enjoy yourself in the water.
  • Return back to the hotel.
  • Overnight stay in the hotel at Shillong.
  • After breakfast, set out for another day of adventure.
  • Visit Mawlynnong Village.
  • Take the village tour and explore the Balancing Rock and Living Root Bridge.
  • Move on to visit the Umngot river in Dawki.
  • Enjoy boating in the crystal clear water.
  • Visit the Indo-Bangladesh border and have a glimpse of the plains of Bangladesh from the hills of Jaintia Hills.
  • If time permits you can visit Mawjymbuim cave known for its stalagmites.
  • Later drive to Mawlyngbna to explore the plateau grasslands, waterfalls and fossils.
  • In the afternoon, explore the mini sandstone canyons and lake of Umkhakoi.
  • You can choose to enjoy kayaking at Umkhakoi lake.
  • Return back to Shillong.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.
  • After breakfast, transfer to Guwahati and visit the Kamakhya Temple.
