Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Jaipur Pick-Up
Pick-up from Jaipur Railway Station/Airport. Transfer to the hotel and check-in. In the afternoon, enjoy a tour of Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, which was given a pink color coat a century ago in honor of a visiting prince, and it has retained this color ever since. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, a notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. Visit Sisodiya Rani Temple and Laxmi Narayan Temple. In the evening, enjoy free time with an optional visit to Chokhi Dhani Resort (dinner chargeable extra).
Chokhi Dhani is built in the ethnic Rajasthani style and offers various activities like camel rides, puppet shows, snake charmers, handloom cloth displays, and specialized Rajasthani/continental dinners.
Overnight stay in Jaipur.
In the morning, visit Amber Fort with an elephant ride (at extra cost, subject to availability) up to the main entrance. Amber Fort was the ancient capital of the state. After a photo stop at Jal Mahal, visit Maharaja's City Palace and the Observatory and explore Sheesh Mahal, also known as the Hall of Victory, glittering with mirrors. The evening is free for shopping.
Overnight stay in Jaipur.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Bikaner. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon, embark on a local sightseeing tour, including a visit to Junagarh Fort, built by Raja Rai Singh in 1593. The fort is known for its innovative and formidable structure, surrounded by a water moat believed to have bred crocodiles.
Also, visit Lalgarh Palace, Anup Mahal, Gaj Mandir, Sheesh Mahal, and Deshnok Temple (Karni Mata Temple). In the evening, visit the prestigious Camel Breeding Farm.
Overnight stay in Bikaner.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Jaisalmer. Upon arrival, check into the desert camp. In the evening, experience the desert with an overnight stay in dunes with tented accommodation, a cultural program, and a photogenic sunset on a camel safari.
Dinner and overnight stay at the desert camp.
After breakfast, check out of the tent (if staying) and proceed for a sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer, the Golden City. The highlight of the tour is the 12th-century Jaisalmer Fort. Also, visit the beautifully carved Salim Singh ki Haveli, Patwon ki Haveli, Gandhi Sagar Tank, and Barabagh Hill.
Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Jodhpur. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon, proceed for a city tour of Jodhpur, founded in 1459 by Prince Jodha. Visit Mehrangarh Fort, located on a low sandstone hill. Inside the fort, explore Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also, visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble cenotaph built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II in 1899, and Umaid Public Gardens.
Overnight stay in Jodhpur.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and depart for Udaipur. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Udaipur, known as the City of Lakes, is admired for its palaces, lakes, temples, and gardens. The evening is free for leisure.
Overnight stay in Udaipur.
After breakfast, proceed for a city tour of Udaipur. Founded in 1559 A.D. by Maharaja Udai Singh, Udaipur has been described as the most romantic spot in India by Col. James Todd. Visit City Palace, which has intricately carved balconies, arches, pillars, Zenana Mahal, Fateh Prakash Palace, Durbar Hall, and Shambhu Niwas. Also, visit Jagdish Temple and Sahelion-ki-Bari (the Queen's resort for friends). In the evening, enjoy a motorboat cruise (cruise not included) on the serene waters of Lake Pichola.
Overnight stay in Udaipur.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Pushkar, stopping en route at Ajmer Dargah Sharif. Pushkar is known for the Brahma Temple, built in the 14th century, and Pushkar Lake. It is the only temple in the world where Lord Brahma, the creator of the universe, is worshipped. Pushkar is also famous for its annual Camel Fair.

We had to make last minute adjustments to previous (Read More) itinerary due to other couple needs in Kerala and Mr Anoj Verma was extremely helpful in dropping us at different locations even after completing the tour. He was extremely taking care of us both during and after tour till be back homebooking new flights and changing ousightseeing. He also personally met us at the airport and facilitated transfers to our hotel in Delhi. Our guides for both cities and driver for the trip were also very helpful and always punctual. Conveyance arranged was also comfortable. We found Sulekha tours to be a good fit for our traveling party of 6 and would definitely recommend them. All hotels were 4+ star rated and the guides are well knowledgeable and very fluent in English. They have provided well history of each places before we entered into the monuments. The drivers are also very pleasant and very punctual and went with us without any complaints. I will recommend Sulekha Tours for anyone who wants customised tour wherever is needed.

Liliana's Trip to Agra, Jaipur, Khajuraho, Ranthambore National Park, Varanasi

We planned the tour as we wished. Piyush and Karishma were in easy contact all the time. They let us choose the places to go each day and the drivers were really flexible, specially our Kerala's drive (Read More)r, Abdul, who was excellent. The hotels were fine. You need to take in mind that the 4 stars hotels in India aren't the same than in the west countries. You can find dirty sheets and uncleaned bathrooms or expect to sleep in a mattress over the floor in a double room (when you expect triple accommodation). That happenned to us in some of the hotels. We had other minor issues but Piyush helped us to fix them. So, if you want to travel to India with comfort and if you need to save time, I recommend you this agency that also have very good prices.
