Day 1 Arrive in Kochi & Transfer to Munnar
  • Arrive at Kochi Airport/Railway Station and transfer to Munnar.
  • On the way visit Valara, Cheeyappara waterfalls & tea plantations.
  • On arrival at Munnar, check-in at the hotel.
  • In the afternoon, visit Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park - open as per the directions by the forest authorities) & Tea Museum.
  • In the evening, a short visit to Munnar town. You can see the beautiful tea estates like a green paradise.
  • Overnight stay at Munnar.
  • After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing.
  • Visit Mattuppetty dam, Echo Point, Kundala Dam, Pothamedu Viewpoint, Blossom Park, etc.
  • Time for shopping.
  • Overnight stay at Munnar.
  • In the morning, after breakfast check out from the hotel.
  • Drive to Thekkady. Thekkady is a world-famous wildlife sanctuary and it is also called Periyar.
  • On arrival check in to the hotel.
  • In the afternoon proceed for a game viewing cruise on the Periyar Lake. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar, etc.

What's Good: Hassle free booking, personalized trip itinerary We were quite apprehensive about the trip, but it worked out much better than our expectations. Special thanks to Harry for allayi (Read More)ng our fears and going out of his way to make the trip smooth and hassle free. Good vehicles, polite and knowledgeable drivers. Well planned sightseeing areas. Good hotels with hygienic rooms and decent buffet breakfast. Overall decent and safe stay. Worth the price.
What's Not Good: Being clubbed with a rowdy group of men for an island boat trip. But I guess that wasn't in control of the trip planners. Getting an uncomfortable mini bus for Pattaya to Bangkok journey with ineffective cooling

What's Good: Good hotels at great locations. Pick and drop from hotels made the whole trip seem easy. No need to pay for any attractions so we saved some cash for shopping. I would recommend sp (Read More)ending a little extra and get a private vehicle instead of shared one though.
What's Not Good: The hotels were a little old but all the hotels, beach and shopping area was walking distance from them so it's ok.
