Day 1 Arrive in Kochi & Transfer to Munnar
  • Arrive at Kochi Airport/Railway Station and transfer to Munnar.
  • On the way visit Valara, Cheeyappara waterfalls & tea plantations.
  • On arrival at Munnar, check-in at the hotel.
  • In the afternoon, visit Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park - open as per the directions by the forest authorities) & Tea Museum.
  • In the evening, a short visit to Munnar town. You can see the beautiful tea estates like a green paradise.
  • Overnight stay at Munnar.
  • After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing.
  • Visit Mattuppetty dam, Echo Point, Kundala Dam, Pothamedu Viewpoint, Blossom Park, etc.
  • Time for shopping.
  • Overnight stay at Munnar.
  • In the morning, after breakfast check out from the hotel.
  • Drive to Thekkady. Thekkady is a world-famous wildlife sanctuary and it is also called Periyar.
  • On arrival check in to the hotel.
  • In the afternoon proceed for a game viewing cruise on the Periyar Lake. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar, etc.

It is really memorable tour with Travel fun unlimited. Tour was well guided, with a nice comfortable vehicle and a cooperative driver. However, hotels given at some locations were not up to the mark. (Read More)Overall we enjoyed the tour package guided by Travel Fun Unlimited and looking ahead for future tours.

We had a great during the trip. Planning and itinerary was perfect. There were a few mishaps like a cancelled train trip which is out of the control of Indian Travel Waves but Venay handled it very (Read More)well and we were put on a flight very quickly that we did not miss a beat. On the whole it was a great trip. The two drivers that was provided for the trip were both excellent and went above and beyond what was expected. I would recommend Indian Travel Waves and especially Venay our travel agent to whoever is planning this kind of trip.
