Day 1 Arrival in Guwahati

Arrive at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station.

Day 2 Guwahati – Shillong

After breakfast, drive to Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya (about 100 km, approximately 3-4 hours).
En route, visit the Umiam Lake, a beautiful man-made reservoir.
Check-in to your hotel in Shillong.
Explore the local markets and Shillong's vibrant culture.

Day 3 Shillong Local Sightseeing

Day 4 Excursion to Cherrapunjee

Explore the Living Root bridges in the nearby villages.
Return to Shillong in the evening.

Day 5 Excursion to Mawlynnong and Dawki

Today after breakfast, get ready for a drive to Mawlynnong, known as "Asia's Cleanest Village" (about 90 km, approximately 3-4 hours).
Explore the picturesque village and visit the Sky View Point for stunning views of the plains of Bangladesh.
Proceed to Dawki, famous for its crystal-clear Umngot River.
Enjoy a boat ride on Umngot River.
Return to Shillong for an overnight stay.
Have dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

Day 6 Shillong – Guwahati (Departure)

Depending on your departure time, you can explore local markets or visit any missed attractions in Shillong.
Check-out from your hotel.
Proceed to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.

The driver Britu Das was extremely friendly and made our journey smooth and enjoyable. Special thanks to Mr. Ujjal and Mr. Amit, who coordinated everything so well. They were always available and supportive, and even when we requested last-minute changes to our itinerary, they accommodated us without any hassle. They went above and beyond to give us the best possible experience and ensured we covered most of the key attractions. The itinerary was thoughtfully designed and executed as planned. The hotels arranged by Safar Panda were top-notch — clean, comfortable, and located in great areas. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the food provided, especially the breakfast, which was always delicious and well-prepared to ensure we started our days right.
