Day 1 Arrival at Leh

  • After breakfast, check out and proceed to Nubra Valley via the world’s highest motorable road, Khardung La (18,380 ft).
  • Arrive at Diskit by afternoon. Check in to your hotel.
  • Explore Diskit Monastery – one of Ladakh’s largest monasteries, founded in the 14th century.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Nubra.
  • After breakfast, drive to Turtuk, the last Indian village before the Pakistan border.
  • Experience the rich Balti culture, explore the historic trade route settlement, and enjoy the unique landscape.
  • Return to Hunder/Nubra for dinner and overnight stay.
  • After breakfast, check out and drive to Pangong Lake (14,270 ft).
  • Witness the magical lake changing its shades from blue, turquoise, to pink hues.
  • Overnight stay in Pangong camps near the lake.
  • After breakfast, check out from Pangong and return to Leh.

The booking and arrangements initially was excellent. Reeta was contacting me almost daily to assist me and finalise my itenerary. She also accommodated my pref (Read More)erred hotel requests. I then made payment ,on 7 October 2024. Since then Reeta has stopped communicating. She however did ask her office to send me internal travel arrangements (after I requested the details) and I have since only had communications from Nikhil from her office. I just feel that I should have been advised by Reeta, that after initial sale by her , I will be handed over to her office admin for ongoing communication. Then I would understand. Otherwise I just felt neglected. Hope it all starts and ends well. I only arrive in Mumbai on 11/11/2024. But still dont know who will meet me at airport. Regards Mano
