Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu
  • Upon arrival at Kathmandu airport, meet our local representative and transfer to the hotel. Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, is the political and cultural heart of the Kingdom.
  • The modern city comprises two main areas: Kathmandu and Patan. After settling in, enjoy your leisure time at the casino. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
  • Overnight stay in Kathmandu
  • Bouddhanath Stupa: One of the largest stupas in the world and a hub for Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. The stupa's massive white dome is decorated with colorful prayer flags, and the surrounding area features monasteries and shops selling religious artifacts. Both pilgrims and tourists circumambulate the stupa, spin prayer wheels, and offer their devotion.
  • Pashupatinath Temple: This revered Hindu temple complex is along the sacred Bagmati River. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva as Pashupati (Lord of Animals). The temple's intricate architecture and rituals provided a deep insight into Hindu spirituality and funeral practices.

  • Patan Durbar Square: Also known as Lalitpur, the "City of Beauty," Patan is the second-largest city in the valley and is separated from Kathmandu by the Bagmati River. It boasts a concentration of ancient architectural masterpieces, particularly in the central Durbar Square. The area also has a Tibetan refugee center, where visitors can shop for fine Tibetan carpets.
  • Swayambhunath: This 5th-century stupa, known for its golden spire adorned with fluttering prayer flags, crowns a hill overlooking the Kathmandu Valley. Swayambhunath is one of Nepal's most recognizable symbols, with the painted eyes of Buddha watching over those who ascend the worn stone steps.
  • The rest of the day is free for leisure. Enjoy the casino. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
  • Check-out from hotel and drive to Kathmandu airport for onward journey to India. Tour ends with life time memories.

What's Good: Overall planning was good. but execution needs further improvement. We had slight hitches here and there with respect to hotel arrangements. The conveyance arranged was fine and th (Read More)e driver was skilled and well mannered, though slightly lacking in punctuality. The tour organisers were very cordial, polite and receptive to our suggestions. One suggestion is for the tour operator to coordinate with the hotels and detail the plans before the guests arrive so that no confusion arises at the reception counter on arrival. Overall I will give a rating of 8/10
