Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Srinagar
- On arrival at Srinagar, pickup by our representative and transfer to houseboat.
- Spend the afternoon at leisure.
- Enjoy a Shikara ride on Dal Lake in the evening.
- Overnight stay at the houseboat.
Day 2 Srinagar Sightseeing
- Visit the world famous Mughal Gardens- Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Adobe of love).
- Enroute visit carpet-weaving factory and old Srinagar city.
- Overnight stay at the houseboat.
Day 3 Srinagar to Gulmarg
- After breakfast, leave for Gulmarg which is one of the most beautiful summer resort in the valley.
- It is also popular for its golf course (in summer)which is the highest in the world. During the winter season, you can try skiing here.
- Enjoy the day exploring the natural beauty of Gulmarg Valley.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4 Gulmarg Sightseeing
- After breakfast at hotel, check-out and drive to Gulmarg.
- Spend the day exploring the lush green meadows of flowers with a backdrop of the snow-capped mountains.
- Enjoy pony ride or Gondola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg.
- Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5 Gulmarg to Pahalgam
- After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam.
- Enroute visit Saffron fields and Avantipur ruins which is an eleven hundred years old temple.
- Reach Pahalgam by the afternoon.
- After lunch, explore the valley.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6 Pahalgam to Sonamarg
- Enroute stop at the picturesque spots to take in the natural beauty.
- Continue the drive to Sonmarg (also known as Meadow of Gold).
- You can also enjoy a horse ride to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year.
- In the evening, return to the hotel.
- Overnight stay at Sonamarg.
Day 7 Sonamarg to Srinagar
- After breakfast, leave for Srinagar.
- Visit the Lotus Garden, Floating Market, Char-e-Chinar and Nehru Park.
- Visit Shankar Acharya Temple.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 8 Departure
- After breakfast, drop at Srinagar airport for onward journey.

The booking and arrangements initially was excellent. Reeta was contacting me almost daily to assist me and finalise my itenerary. She also accommodated my pref (Read More)erred hotel requests. I then made payment ,on 7 October 2024. Since then Reeta has stopped communicating. She however did ask her office to send me internal travel arrangements (after I requested the details) and I have since only had communications from Nikhil from her office.
I just feel that I should have been advised by Reeta, that after initial sale by her , I will be handed over to her office admin for ongoing communication. Then I would understand. Otherwise I just felt neglected.
Hope it all starts and ends well. I only arrive in Mumbai on 11/11/2024. But still dont know who will meet me at airport.

The offer from WTE seems fit our requirements.
They arrange accordingly our request.All the hotel are very nice to stay and enjoy the hotel facility mainly the (Read More) restaurant.
The driver we get are very nice and responsible as driving almost non stop is not an easy task.
