Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Jaisalmer
  • Upon your arrival in Jaisalmer, you will be received by our representative.
  • Transfer to the hotel and check-in the hotel.
  • Spend time at leisure.
  • Later, visit Sandstone Fort, Jaisalmer Fort, Salim Ki Haveli, Patwa ki Haveli, The Thar heritage museum, Rani ka Mahal, Gadisagar Lake, and the Sun City, which is part of the fort. 
  • Optional – While all seems glorious in this town, there is also a set oppressed musician community struggling to keep their ancestral art form alive. The Merasi Music school aimed to help the children of this community play music. Don’t forget to get some Books/anything you want for the children.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.
  • After breakfast, visit Bada Bagh, Jain Temple, and Jaisalmer Museum.
  • Later, visit Kuldhara village and the ruins around it.
  • In the evening, drive to the Sam Dunes.
  • Special stay at the Swiss tents in the middle of the clean desert of Thar – Sand Dunes.
  • Bonfire at the campsite with evening cultural show followed by dinner.
  • Overnight stay at the camp.
  • After breakfast, check out from the camp and head towards Jaisalmer airport/railway station for your journey home.

What's Good: The response time and patience from Abhijit and his team are highly commendable. He never fail to assure me of the arrangement and decisive in his proposed itinerary. More importa (Read More)ntly, he kept to his promises. Understanding my concerns about hotel cleanliness and safety, he has selected the hotels which are truly value for money. Manisha Mam created an amazing packa (Read More)ge for us, accommodating multiple modifications to our itinerary without any concerns. She stayed in touch with us throughout the journey, proactively addressing any issues that might arise. All the hotels and itinerary arrangements were very good. Our driver was polite and skilled at navigating the challenging, narrow ghat roads. We also appreciated their flexible payment policy, unlike other agencies that require full payment upfront, VJ Global did not.
