Day 1 Arrival in Delhi

  • Proceed to Agra.
  • On arrival visit the Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private Audience.

  • In the early morning visit the world-famous Taj Mahal (Closed on Fridays) built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains.
  • Also, visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father.
  • Thereafter drive to Delhi.

  • Visit the Laxman Jhula - a suspension bridge across Ganga situated 5 km from Rishikesh, on the way to Badrinath. 
  • On the west bank, there is a Laxman temple.
  • Visit Parmarth Niketan Ashram- a true spiritual haven, lying on the holy banks of Mother Ganga in the lap of the lush Himalayas. 
  • In the evening enjoy Ganga Arti.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.
  • After breakfast enjoy the rafting on Ganges (not applicable from July-September).
  • Experience the rapids on the Ganges. 
  • Spend the evening free at your leisure.

  • After breakfast drive to Haridwar.
  • Visit Har-ki-Pauri and various Ghats & temples like Dakasha Temple, Pawan Dham Temple.

  • Later in the evening, you will be dropped at the railway station to catch the train for Delhi.
  • In Delhi, you will be transferred to the hotel.

What's Good: The scenery and the knowledge of the driver. Amazing people.
What's Not Good: Quality of the hotel in Thekkady and the selection of food could be better.

What's Good: Vishal was very approachable and supportive all through. He ensured the accommodation issues are immediately resolved by coordinating with Hotel authorities He clearly communicat (Read More)ed the itinerary and ensured it is being followed
What's Not Good: Accommodation in Thekkady was not good. No water in bathroom. Had to move to different room. Would not recommend the hotel Lincoln Square to anyone
