  • This day Enjoy the festival of Colour Morning after breakfast proceed to celebrate Dhulandi Festival of Colour.
  • Dhulandi is celebrated across India on the day after Holika Dahan (the traditional bonfire) to mark the onset of spring. Everyone, including the young and the old, can be seen indulging in gaiety and celebration and throwing and smearing colors on each other. The celebration can last till late in the evening. However, the festival acquires a special charm in the way it the celebrated in the capital city of Jaipur. department of tourism organizes an exclusive event in the lawns of Khasa Kothi Hotel for international guests where they can take part in and enjoy the culture, food and spirit of India, besides relishing the traditional Rajasthani folk songs as well as music. We will provide you the Indian typical Indian attire (white Kurta / Payjama) and colours.

  • The morning after breakfast, transfer to the airport to board the flight to Dehradun and transfer to Rishikesh (20 Kms / 45 Minutes).  Located on the banks of the holy Ganges River, Rishikesh is known for its tranquil ambiance and spiritual significance. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and relax for a while.
  • You can visit the famous Triveni Ghat in the evening to witness the grand Ganga Aarti ceremony.
  • Overnight stay in Rishikesh.
  • After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Rishikesh.
  • Visit the iconic Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula, suspension bridges that span the Ganges River.
  • Explore the ashrams and temples that dot the city, including the Beatles Ashram, where the legendary band stayed during their visit to Rishikesh.
  • You can also enjoy activities like yoga, meditation, and river rafting.

Overnight stay in Rishikesh.
  • After having breakfast in the morning, you will drive to Haridwar, which is located approximately 20 kilometers away and the journey takes around 45 minutes.
  • Upon arrival, you will embark on a short sightseeing tour, starting with a visit to Har-ki-Pauri, one of the most sacred ghats in India. It is believed that Vikramaditya constructed this ghat in memory of his brother Bhartrihari and is also known as Brahmakund. Later, you will have the opportunity to witness the Aarti ceremony of the Holy River Ganges.  Afterward, you will be transferred to Haridwar Railway Station to catch a train departing at 18:12 hrs. Upon your arrival at Delhi Railway Station at 22:50 hrs, you will be transferred to Hotel Taj Princes for an overnight stay.

We had lots of requests/changes while creating the itinerary, Parul was very patient in listening and worki (Read More)ng on each one of them. We were initially skeptical of making on-line payments to a travel agent we had never seen or heard before. However JourneyCook was thoroughly professional and each payment was acknowledged promptly.
