Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive in Srinagar - Shikara Ride on Dal Lake
- Reach Srinagar by afternoon.
- Spend the day to relax in the houseboat or hotel.
- Enjoy a Shikara ride on the Dal Lake in the evening.
- Visit Floating Market from shikara ride.
- Dinner in the houseboat.
Day 2 Transfer to Kargil via Zoji La Pass
- Leave Srinagar early in the morning after bed tea.
- Move onwards for breakfast at Sonmarg.
- After breakfast, start from Sonmarg to reach Kargil by early evening via Drass.
- Enjoy the magnificient view of Zoji La pass on the way.
- Witness the gradual change in the landscape from a green valley to a high altitude cold desert as you move ahead.
- Visit the 1999 Kargil War Memorial just before Kargil.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Kargil.
Day 3 Transfer to Leh - Stop by Sangam
- After breakfast, head onwards to Mulbek.
Mulbek is home to a 2000 year old stone carved statue of Buddha. - Head onwards to Lamayuru, one of the oldest monasteries in Ladakh.
- Further ahead you will see Moon Landscape and Magnetic Hill (gravity defying hill).
- On the way, also stop by Sangam (confluence of Zanskar and Indus rivers).
- Reach Leh early in the evening and relax in hotel.
Day 4 Leh Exploration - Visit Shey Palace and Thiksey Monastery
- Take a city tour including Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, Sindhu Darshan and finally end the day at Shanti Stupa before dusk.
Shanti Stupa is the most iconic structure in Leh. - Head to bed early for next day's early morning journey.
Day 5 Transfer to Pangong Lake - Lakeside Camping
- After breakfast, leave for Pangong Tso via Chang La (third highest motorable road in the world).
- Drive downwards to Pangong Tso.
This lake of "3 Idiots" fame is world renowned for its changing colours throughout the day according to the sun's position and reflection. - Stay overnight at the lakeside camp.
- Dinner at camp.
Day 6 Transfer to Leh - Stop by Hemis Monastery
- Leave early morning from Pangong Tso.
- Enjoy breakfast and see Hemis monastery on the way to Leh.
Hemis is the largest monastery in Ladakh and has one of the most beautiful locations. It also consists of a museum which houses the largest collection of ancient Buddhist artifacts in India. - Head to Leh after seeing Hemis.
- Reach hotel by late afternoon.
- Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7 Leisure Day - Explore Leh Markets
- Visit Leh Market for last minute shopping of souvenirs, etc.
- In the second half of the day, take a walk around Leh city.
- Head to bed early for next day's early morning journey.
Day 8 Transfer to Nubra Valley via Khardung La - Bactrian Camel Safari
- After breakfast, proceed to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (the world’s highest motorable road).
- Head onwards to Diskit Gompa and sand dunes at Hundur.
- Enjoy a Bactrian camel safari in sand dunes between Diskit and Hunder village.
- Drive back to Diskit.
- Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Diskit.
Day 9 Transfer to Leh - Visit Leh Palace and Fort
- After breakfast, leave for Leh.
- Reach Leh by early afternoon.
- Visit the Leh Palace and Fort.
- End the day with a visit to Phyang monastery.
Day 10 Depart from Leh
- After breakfast, drop to Leh airport to catch the onward flight back home.

Highlights: Munnar liked everything, game drive with Sunil @Sunil travels
Tea plantation. Camel ride. Blackberry Hills hotel.
Thekkady: elephant jungle. Poetrree Saravor hotel. Elephant ride
Kumarakom: Backwater ripple hotel.
Alleppey: spice route luxury houseboat. Loved the crab roast chef John prepared. Cruising the backwaters was very tranquil. Walked alongside the rice paddies.
Kovalum: boat cruise in backwaters.
Trivandrum: Gokulam grand hotel. Lovely end to our vacation with complimentary dinner from Bharatawaytravels.
Accommodation: good selection of hotels. Friendly staff at all hotels and restaurants.

On our arrival at kochi airport ,the cab driver as already there and it was Toyota etios which is well maintained and driver is bilingual so we don't get any pr (Read More)oblem in dealing with our tour,
We went to munnar watching beautiful views of water falls and natural greenery of the mountains.
After reaching at the munnar the hotel Monsoon grand was located at the mountain and surrounded by tea , evening view was beautiful rooms were neat and clean, staff was good, food was outstanding
There After we went to thekkady hotel crown valley which was one plus than the previous property , you can enjoy spa , elephant ride and some traditional kerala dance and martial art there, Herr also food was great and worth visiting place again.
Thereafter we went to alleppey that is situated at the bank of vembanad lake, here also scenic views are beautiful and natural we stepped in to astonishing houseboat that is also very good and we'll maintained , you can enjoy some rides there in speed boats. The food was again great and tasty.
The memories I captured on camera is nothing than what I captured in my eyes and hearts...that stays forever with me.
