Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival at Leh
- Arrival at Leh airport.
- Pickup by our representative and transfer to the hotel.
- Enjoy welcome drinks- tea or coffee.
- Check-in to the hotel for a complete day of acclimatization with the low atmospheric pressure because of the high altitude of Ladakh.
- Post lunch visit Leh Market, Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa.
- Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 2 Leh to Sham Region and Back
- After breakfast, drive for a full day of sightseeing.
- Visit Likir, Alchi Monastery, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Hall of Fame museum and Sangam (confluence of Zanskar and Indus river).
- Back to Leh by evening.
- Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 3 Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass
After breakfast, proceed to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (the world’s highest motorable road).
- Arrive at Hundur by afternoon.
- After lunch, you are free to explore Diskit and Hunder villages.
- Enjoy a camel safari in sand dunes between Diskit and Hunder village.
- Overnight stay at camp/ resort in Nubra Valley.
Day 4 Nubra Valley to Leh
- After breakfast, visit Diskit Monastery.
- Enjoy a magnificient view of Nubra Valley.
- Later, drive back to Leh by same route.
- Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 5 Leh to Pangong Lake
- After breakfast, leave for Pangong Lake through Chang La Pass.
Chang la Pass is the third highest motorable road. - Arrival at the camp.
- Enjoy hot lunch served at the camp.
- Rest of the evening is free for leisure.
- Enjoy the spectacular beauty of the lake.
- Overnight stay at the camp at the bank of Pangong Lake.
Day 6 Pangong Lake to Leh
- Early morning, enjoy the picturesque sunrise view on the lake.
- After breakfast, drive back to Leh.
- En route visit Hemis, Thikse Monastery and Shey Palace.
- Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 7 Departure from Leh
- After breakfast, drop to Leh airport to catch the onward flight back home.
