Day 1 Arrival in Kannur – Day at Leisure
- Upon arrival at Kannur International Airport, meet our representative and transfer to the resort, just an hour away.
- Spend the day at leisure, enjoying the relaxed vibes of the resort.
- Overnight: Kannur
Day 2 Exploring Kannur – Beaches and Temples
- After breakfast, embark on a family tour to Valiyaparamba Beach and the Kavvayi Backwaters.
- Later, visit Parassinikkadavu Temple and the fascinating Snake Park.
- Return to Kannur in the afternoon to visit the St. Angelo Fort, followed by a relaxing evening at Payyambalam Beach.

Day 3 Journey to Wayanad (Drive- 4-5 hours Approximately)
- After breakfast, check out of the resort and drive to Wayanad (4-5 hours).
- Check-in at the resort and later enjoy a village walk through a local tribal colony, experiencing the unique customs and culture of the Wayanad tribes.
- Spend the rest of the day at leisure

Day 4 Wayanad – Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary
- Wake up early for a visit to the Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary, where your family can spot animals in their natural habitat.
- Return to the resort for breakfast, then explore the famous Edakkal Caves, known for their ancient petroglyphs.
- Spend the rest of the day at leisure exploring Wayanad
- Overnight: Wayanad
Day 5 Journey to Kozhikode - (Drive -3-4 hours Approximately)
- After breakfast, drive to Kozhikode (3-4 hours).
- Enjoy the scenic route, which is full of hairpin bends and mesmerizing views.
- En route, visit the Bee Craft Honey Museum. In the afternoon, explore Beypore Beach, a perfect spot for family fun.
- Overnight: Kozhikode
Day 6 Kozhikode - Kochi(Drive - 5.5 – 6.5 hours approximately)
- After breakfast, visit the Pazhassiraja Archaeological Museum, which showcases Kerala's rich history.
- Later, depart for Cochin (5.5 – 6.5 hours) and check into your hotel.
- The evening is free for leisure.

Day 7 Village Life in Kumbalangi & Kochi Sightseeing
- After breakfast, head to Kumbalanghi, India's first model fisheries and tourism village.
- Take part in local activities such as boat riding, crab farming, and coir yarn making.

Just went for 8 day safari with James and Wild Portraits Safaris...it was spot o (Read More)n perfect.
Reasons
1.Clear communication and replies always comes very quickly on WhatsApp.
2. Very genuine with suggestions and doesn't do things as a job or formality.
3. James is very knowledgeable.
4. The enthusiasm and passion shown by James was just so infectious.
5. The planning of itinerary takes care of all the finer details.
6. They really take care of your focus and they don't try to sell anything you are not interested in. For example we skipped the village visit because we didn't see value in it.
7. Quite flexible and adjusts as things progress.

Everything went smooth and was detailed. Communication was flawless. The experie (Read More)nce was seamless and well organised. Our guide Ben was fantastic and knowledgable so we feel we made a friend in Kenya too. James was superb in helping us plan the trip and with suggestions for stay. All in all it was such a special vacation and I can’t wait to explore more of Africa. People are great ! So warm and friendly and what a truly blessed country with so much nature and wildlife. I would highly recommend Wild Portraits and James and Ben for your travel to Kenya.
please be careful while entering the country at immigration - make sure your pas (Read More)sport is stamped. We had some issue with this. Can’t complain about anything else. It was beyond our expectations.

The responsiveness of Christine (person overall responsible for arrangements)and (Read More) knowledge from Evance (our driver and guide for national parks)about national parks was excellent.
We stayed and covered Nairobi, Masai, Naivasha and Daini.. All stays and safaris were perfect could not have asked for better.
We chose Van but we think land cruiser would have been a better option especiall (Read More)y for being comfortable in muddy terrains.

After screening and talking to about 5 travel operators, I decided to go with Na (Read More)ture Romp for an 8 day safari in Kenya. Their rate was competitive and selection of lodges to stay very good. Initially I was skeptical due to less reviews about Nature Romp in public domain. However when I talked to Yvonne, I understood that theirs is a fairly new company and decided to go with them. We (my daughter and I) opted for a private tour covering Masai Mara, Nakuru and Amboseli. We were received at the airport and the next day Yvonne, Lucy and Maxwell (guide cum driver) welcomed us at the hotel, early morning of the Safari start. We instantly felt at home and from then onwards it was a memorable trip. Our guide Maxwell is an excellent guide. He knew about birds and animals, their behavior and diligent in driving. He was always on time.
Nothing in particular. Only one stay (at Naivasha) could have been closer to the (Read More) national park. It was nevertheless a good place but not great for bird photography
