Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Madurai & Transfer to Rameshwaram

Arrive in Madurai and proceed to Rameswaram
On arrival check in to the hotel.
After freshening up, visit Pamban Bridge, Rama Theertham, Lakshman Theertham, Sita Theertham, Pamban Bridge, Kentha Patha Parvath, Panch Muki Hanuman Temple, Sri Ramachandra Temple (Floating Stone).
Overnight stay at Rameswaram.

Day 2 Rameshwaram to Madurai

After breakfast, proceed to Madurai.
After check-in, proceed for a full day of sightseeing in Madurai.
Visit Mariamman Teppakulam, Thirumalai Nayak’s Palace, and Gandhi Museum.
Return to the hotel.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 Madurai to Thanjavur

After breakfast, drive to Thanjavur.
En-route visit Swamimalai Temple.
On arrival at Thanjavur, check in at the hotel.
Later, visit Brihadeeswara Temple and the Royal Palace Complex.
Return to the hotel.
Overnight stay at Thanjavur.

Day 4 Thanjavur to Tiruchi

After breakfast, drive to Tiruchi.
On arrival at Tiruchi, check in to the hotel.
Later, visit Srirangam temple and Rock fort temple.
If time permits, explore some rarely visited ancient sites near Tiruchi, such as Moovar Koil Temple at Kodumbalur, ancient cave temples of the Jains at Sittannavasal, and Pudukottai.
Return to the hotel.
Overnight stay at Tiruchi.

Day 5 Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
Leave for the nearest airport/railway station for your onward journey back home.

Majority of things were discussed with Smriti she was very much cooperative and ehile on trio Anjali helped us with all our querie (Read More)s .I will definitely recommend iyatraa holidays. The trip was well customised as per our needs . Initially few days being a couple we were provided twin beds by the hotel whereas our other family were provided with double beds . On leisure day we were shifted to another good hotel by the team for this reason . All the customisations and hotel expenses were beared by iyatraa holidays and we had a great stay on last day .
