Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Haridwar - Evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri
  • On arrival at Haridwar, check-in to hotel.
  • In the evening, proceed to Har Ki Pauri to enjoy Ganga Aarti on the banks of Ganges.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Haridwar.
  • The next morning depart for Barkot, located on the foot of Yamunotri.
  • Drive via Mussoorie and visit Kempty Falls on the way.
  • On arrival at Barkot, check-in to your hotel.
  • Rest of the day is free to relax and prepare for the Pahad (hiII) Yatra of Yamunotri the next day.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Barkot.
  • After breakfast, begin the First Pahad Yatra of Yamunotri with Hanumanchatti and Janki Chatti. 
  • Doli or horse can be hired if needed for the trek. (not inlcuded).
  • Reach Yamunotri in the afternoon and take a holy dip in Yamuna River and perform pooja.
  • Return to Barkot for dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
  • After breakfast, check out from the Barkot hotel and drive to Uttarkashi.
  • Check-in to hotel.
  • In the evening, visit the famous Vishwanath Temple.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
  • Early morning breakfast at hotel and drive to Gangotri.
  • Upon arrival at Gangotri take a holy dip in the River Ganges.
  • Visit the Gangotri Temple. 
  • Drive back to Uttarkashi after pooja.
  • Dinner & overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
  • After early morning breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive for Guptkashi.
  • On arrival, check-in at hotel.
  • Spend the rest of the day at leisure or explore the Guptkashi town.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Guptkashi.
  • Early morning breakfast, followed by check-out and drive to Sonprayag.
  • Trek to Kedarnath from there or hire a Doli or horse, for the trek (by self).
  • On arrival, check-in at Govt. Camps/Lodges.
  • Dinner and overnight at Govt. Camps/Lodges.
  • Wake up before dawn and go to the temple by 4:45 AM, in time for the 'Abhishek’ to Kedarnath Shiva. 
  • After darshan and pooja, return to the Govt. Camps / Lodges.
  • Later, start the return trek from Kedarnath to Sonprayag.
  • Drive from Sonprayag Car Parking back to hotel in Guptkashi.
  • Dinner and overnight at Guptkashi.
  • Check-out of the hotel and drive to Badrinath via Joshimath.
  • Drive through Ghat road, arrive at Badrinath and check into the hotel.
  • After rest and refreshments, go to Tapt Kund (Hot Spring), take a bath and then go to Badrinath Temple for darshan in the evening.
  • Later, return to hotel for dinner.
  • Start the day with Badrinath darshan.
  • After darshan, return back to hotel for breakfast and proceed for Badrinath local sightseeing.
  • Visit Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Mata Murti temple.
  • In the afternoon, drive back to Rudraprayag via Karanprayag.
  • Check-in to hotel and spend the day at leisure.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
  • After breakfast, drive downhill to Rishikesh.
  • Go for sightseeing in Rishikesh and visit Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula.
  • In the evening, drive to Haridwar.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Haridwar.
  • Check-out after breakfast at hotel.
  • Drive back to Delhi.
  • On reaching Delhi, transfer to Railway Station or Airport for onward journey.

What's Good: All destination Hotels and their Breakfast were excellent but suggest you to add fruits and Bread/Toast Butter/Jam as option for children and some time for adult also.

What's Good: I'm delighted to share my exceptional experience with Welgreen Kerala Holidays, expertly managed by Mr. George. Our customized tour package exceeded our expectations, blending comf (Read More)ort and memorable experiences. Hotel selections were impressive: Hotel Sea View at Kanyakumari offered breathtaking sunrise views and delicious food. Hotel Germanus in Madurai, Hotel Soma Palmshore in Kovalam, and Hotel Taika in Rameshwaram provided pleasant stays with good food and courteous staff. The houseboat experience was outstanding, with mouth-watering local cuisine, including an unforgettable fish fry. However, hot water for bathing was not available. Some valuable tips for future travelers: verify temple timings and dress code regulations in advance to optimize your itinerary. Ladies can find lovely, affordable sarees and dress materials. Engaging local drivers or guides can also enhance your experience. Mr. George and Welgreen Kerala Holidays deserve 100% marks for crafting an unforgettable trip with thoughtful hotel choices and a well-planned itinerary. What's Not Good: The houseboat experience was outstanding, with mouth-watering local cuisine, including an unforgettable fish fry. However, hot water for bathing was not available and no more activities at the shore. Rather we would have preferred to stay in a hotel and take long ride of houseboat in the afternoon to late evening would have better.

Every part of travel good. The approach road to hotel Vagamon Vagashore at Vagamon and room service at Thekkady hotel named Kumly gate were poor .

Resort and hotel suggestions to suit my budget and strategically selected closer to places of interest was truly 5 star service from the agent. My solo trip was made safe and comfortable. Great sugge (Read More)stions were made to choose places to visit to make the trip fun, enjoyable and memorable. This awesome trip in a very long time was fun and refreshing. The paradise in Kerala will transcend your soul to haven. People are welcoming and friendly. I recommend Varkala tranquil beeches and Kovalam backwaters for the ultimate fun experience. Gods Own Country’s Kitchen is recommended for some great food and live music on the Varkala cliff point. If south temple architecture peeks your interest, then there are a few gems from ancient times hidden here to explore maintaining sanctity and faith in true form. Solo travellers pay couples rate which can be heavy on the purse. South India need to warm up to the idea that solo traveller numbers are increasing, male and female alike and in all age groups. Not only the cost of travel but people’s outlook need to change. Most of the temples here are only for believers in faith. Kanyakumari was crowded during the Diwali break. The seashore here is only to soak in the view. Thiruvananthapuram Sri Padmanabhaswamy temple darshan was divine however fleeting it maybe, but the mandapa which adorns the beautiful sculptures is out of bounds for devotees. The Garbhagudi could be well lit, so the devotees can properly catch a glimpse of the lord and be blessed. Since architecture is out of bounds recommend special entry for swift darshan.
