Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Haridwar
  • On arrival at Haridwar, you will be picked up and transferred to the hotel.
  • Check in to the hotel and relax.
  • After freshening up, drive to attend the famous Ganga aarti at Har-ki-Pauri.
  • Return to the hotel.
  • Overnight stay at Haridwar.
  • After breakfast, drive to Barkot.
  • En-route visit Kempty Fall at Mussoorie.
  • On arrival check in to the hotel.
  • Dinner & overnight stay at Barkot.
  • After breakfast, drive to Hanuman Chatti.
  • From Hanuman Chatti take local jeeps for Janki Chatti (It helps to reduce the trek up to 7 km).
  • Start the trek to Yamunotri (6kms).
  • You can either walk or ride a horse or  Doli (at your own cost)
  • Arrive at Yamunotri.
  • After taking bath in Jamunabai Kund's warm water and darshan of Yamunaji return to Hanuman Chatti.
  • Later, drive back to the hotel.
  • Dinner & overnight stay at Barkot
  • After morning breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi.
  • En-route visit Shiv Gufa.
  • On arrival check in to the hotel.
  • After freshening up, visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi.
  • Return to the hotel.
  • Dinner & overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
  • After breakfast, proceed to Gangotri.
  • En-route enjoy picturesque Harsil village, Bhagirathi River, and magnificent view of the Himalayas.
  • After the Gangotri darshan, return to the hotel in Uttarkashi.

What's Good: All destination Hotels and their Breakfast were excellent but suggest you to add fruits and Bread/Toast Butter/Jam as option for children and some time for adult also.

What's Good: I'm delighted to share my exceptional experience with Welgreen Kerala Holidays, expertly managed by Mr. George. Our customized tour package exceeded our expectations, blending comf (Read More)ort and memorable experiences. Hotel selections were impressive: Hotel Sea View at Kanyakumari offered breathtaking sunrise views and delicious food. Hotel Germanus in Madurai, Hotel Soma Palmshore in Kovalam, and Hotel Taika in Rameshwaram provided pleasant stays with good food and courteous staff. The houseboat experience was outstanding, with mouth-watering local cuisine, including an unforgettable fish fry. However, hot water for bathing was not available. Some valuable tips for future travelers: verify temple timings and dress code regulations in advance to optimize your itinerary. Ladies can find lovely, affordable sarees and dress materials. Engaging local drivers or guides can also enhance your experience. Mr. George and Welgreen Kerala Holidays deserve 100% marks for crafting an unforgettable trip with thoughtful hotel choices and a well-planned itinerary. What's Not Good: The houseboat experience was outstanding, with mouth-watering local cuisine, including an unforgettable fish fry. However, hot water for bathing was not available and no more activities at the shore. Rather we would have preferred to stay in a hotel and take long ride of houseboat in the afternoon to late evening would have better.

Every part of travel good. The approach road to hotel Vagamon Vagashore at Vagamon and room service at Thekkady hotel named Kumly gate were poor .

Resort and hotel suggestions to suit my budget and strategically selected closer to places of interest was truly 5 star service from the agent. My solo trip was made safe and comfortable. Great sugge (Read More)stions were made to choose places to visit to make the trip fun, enjoyable and memorable. This awesome trip in a very long time was fun and refreshing. The paradise in Kerala will transcend your soul to haven. People are welcoming and friendly. I recommend Varkala tranquil beeches and Kovalam backwaters for the ultimate fun experience. Gods Own Country’s Kitchen is recommended for some great food and live music on the Varkala cliff point. If south temple architecture peeks your interest, then there are a few gems from ancient times hidden here to explore maintaining sanctity and faith in true form. Solo travellers pay couples rate which can be heavy on the purse. South India need to warm up to the idea that solo traveller numbers are increasing, male and female alike and in all age groups. Not only the cost of travel but people’s outlook need to change. Most of the temples here are only for believers in faith. Kanyakumari was crowded during the Diwali break. The seashore here is only to soak in the view. Thiruvananthapuram Sri Padmanabhaswamy temple darshan was divine however fleeting it maybe, but the mandapa which adorns the beautiful sculptures is out of bounds for devotees. The Garbhagudi could be well lit, so the devotees can properly catch a glimpse of the lord and be blessed. Since architecture is out of bounds recommend special entry for swift darshan.
