Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive in Athens
- On arrival at Athens International airport, you will be met and transferred to the hotel.
- The rest of the day is free at leisure.
- In the evening, enjoy a traditional taverna in the old district of Plaka for a delicious Greek dinner and colourful folklore show.
- Overnight in Athens.
Day 2 Athens Hop on Hop off Sightseeing Tour
- Experience the best of Athens on an Hop on Hop off tour of the city. Popular attractions to visit are Acropolis, Pantheon, Plaka, Syntagma Square, and Omonia Square interspersed with many museums and landmarks. See the best of Athens at your own pace.
- Overnight in Athens.
Day 3 Transfer from Athens to Olympia & Olympia Sightseeing
- Transfer from the hotel in Athens to the hotel in Olympia, and en-route visit historical attractions and the smaller Greek cities.
- Set out to discover Olympia on an exciting and fascinating city tour. Pass by the New Olympic stadium to see the Athens 2004 Olympics main venue.
- Later, visit the Corinth Canal which connects the Gulf of Corinth with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea. Drive to Epidaurus and visit the ancient theatre, world-famous for its outstanding acoustics. Proceed to Nauplia and through the plain of Argos and arrive at Mycenae. Enjoy the archaeological site and the Tomb of Agamemnon.
- In the afternoon, you will have an opportunity to shop for souvenirs.
- Later, depart for Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games, through the cities of Tripolis and Megalopolis.
- Overnight in Olympia.
Day 4 Transfer from Olympia to Delphi & Sightseeing
- Transfer from the hotel in Olympia to the hotel in Delphi, and en-route visit various archaeological sites and the village of Arachova.
- Set off to explore the archaeological sites including the Temple of Zeus, the temple of Hera, the altar of the Olympic flame, the Stadium and the archaeological museum.
- Later, proceed via Patras to Rion, cross the Corinthian bay by the new bridge to Antirion.
- Enjoy passing by the city of Nafpaktos and from there on, along the coastal road to Delphi, known in ancient times as the navel of the world.
- In the afternoon, visit the picturesque mountain village of Arachova known for its wines, the amazing cheese products, the shaggy rugs and wool weavings.
- Overnight in Delphi.
Day 5 Transfer from Delphi to Kalambaka (Meteora)
- Transfer from the hotel in Delphi to the hotel in Kalambaka, and en route visit the museum of Delphi.
- After breakfast, visit the museum of Delphi. The museum's collection displays some of the finest chronicles from history dating from the 15th century BC to the 4th century AD, including the many magnificent treasures donated from places throughout the classical world.
- Later, depart for Kalambaka via Central Greece. Kalambaka is a small town built at the foot of the majestic and unique grey rocks, crowned by the Meteora Monasteries.
- Overnight in Kalambaka.
Day 6 Transfer from to Kalambaka to Athens
- Transfer from the hotel in Kalambaka to the hotel in Athens, en-route visit the monasteries at Meteora.
- Enjoy a morning visit to the ageless monasteries perched high atop the huge rocks of Meteora.
- Later, you will proceed on a drive to Athens via Trikala, Lamia and passing by the monument of Leonidas at Thermopylae. Trikala is one of the places touted as the birthplace of physician-god Asklepios, whose old sanctuary Asklepeion, is located in the city's central square. Lamia, the chief town of the nomos of Phthiotis is believed in ancient times to be the home of Achilles lying at the foot of Mt Othrys. The site of the Acropolis is now occupied by a medieval castle.
- Overnight in Athens.
Day 7 Departure
You will be met and transferred to the hotel for your flight back home.

The trip itinerary is well planned . The coach journeys were comfortable. The to (Read More)ur manager has been very cordial and helpful throughout the trip.
The food was too spicy at few restaurants causing stomach problems. Also the hot (Read More)el accommodation at Zurich and Frankfurt were having very little space to move around. The same needs to be improved.

Ayush from Super Travels was assigned to us for our travel request to Croatia. W (Read More)hat we best like about him was he understood our expectation in first discussion and shared well planned itinerary as we had required. Entire trip was well planned by him and worth the money. He always agreed to make any customization we needed starting from hotel to day tours. During the trip also we needed some changes in transport, which he did without any issues.
He was always available to answer the queries and support, be it before or during the trip. Day trips booked were really good especially the Game of Thrones & Plitvice National Park tour.
We did not had any issues during the trip as everything was well taken care of by Ayush, we just had an amazing holiday and great fun ?
I have tried booking via travel companies before and was never happy. Would definetely recommend Super Travels though for planning the trip.
