Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Tezu - Roing - Mayudia
  • On arrival at the airport, drive to Roing.
  • Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel.
  • After freshening up, head to Mayudia. 
  • Mayudia is at an altitude of about 8000 ft amidst Majestic hills.
  • Enroute to Mayudia, cherish nature and indulge in adventure.
  • Return back to Mayudia.
  • Overnight at Roing
  • After breakfast, drive to Hunli.
  • Upon arrival at Hunli, trek in Hunli. Trek around the picturesque scenic valley.
  • Return back to Roing.
  • Later visit Iphi Pani Ghat and Nehru van Udayan.
  • Overnight at Roing.
  • After early morning breakfast, leave for sightseeing.
  • Visit  Bhashmaknagar Fort and then proceed to Mehao Lake. 
  • Enjoy boating in the lake. 
  • Return back to Roing.
  • After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing in Mehao Wildlife Santuary. 
  • Take a jeep safari and explore the sanctuary for wildlife. 
  • Some animals that can be found here are the tiger, leopard, wild duck, hollock gibbon, red panda, and elephant.
  • In the evening, return back to Roing. 
  • Overnight in Roing.
  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to the nearest airport/station for your journey home.

What's Good: The accommodation at Cherrapunji is excellent ?, particularly the behavior and support of the staff and owner, which is truly appreciable.
What's Not Good: The accommodat (Read More)ion in Dawki was substandard. We strongly suggest prioritizing hotels with AC, as it is very hot there during this period. Also behavior of the Manager and staff are not good.

What's Good: Rumi from Indiroots travel designed the perfect travel iteniary for us. Good thing was she listened all our requirements very carefully and worked towards fulfilling them as much a (Read More)s possible. The transportation provided was also very good and the driver was very friendly as well. Another important thing is the flexibility that you get with Indiroots... Even though they provide an iteniary but the same can be customised as per your liking and interests as well. So all in all it was very nice experience with Indiroots and would like to plan my future trips with Indiroots.
