Day 1 Arrival in Guwahati - Transfer to Shillong
  • Arrive at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station.
  • Transfer to Shillong, stopping at Umiam Lake, the largest man-made lake in Northeast India.
  • Arrive in Shillong, check in to your hotel.
  • Spend the evening at leisure or explore and shop at Police Bazar.
  • Overnight stay in Shillong.
  • After breakfast, set out for Cherrapunji, the wettest place on earth.
  • Enroute, visit Elephant Falls and Mawkdok Dympep Valley (optional zip-lining at an extra cost).
  • Upon arrival in Cherrapunji, visit Nohkalikai Falls (the fourth highest falls in the world), Seven Sister Falls, Arwah Cave, and Mawsmai Cave.
  • Check in to your hotel in Cherrapunji.
  • Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.
  • After breakfast, embark on a trek to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge.
  • Reach Tyrna Village, the starting point of your trek.
  • Trek through lush green fields and cliffs, pass small villages, and reach Nongriat Village to see the Double Decker Living Root Bridge.
  • Enjoy trekking through the bridge and a swim in the natural pool.
  • Hike back to Tyrna and return to your hotel.
  • Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.
  • After breakfast, visit Mawlynnong, once awarded as Asia's cleanest village.
  • Explore the 100+ years old Living Root Bridge in Riwai Village with a short trek.
  • Continue to Dawki Village, near the India-Bangladesh border, known for the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River.
  • Witness the transparent river bed of Umngot River.
  • Drive back to Shillong.
  • Overnight stay in Shillong.
  • After an early breakfast, drive towards Kaziranga National Park (280 kms / 6 hrs).
  • Enroute, visit Mahamritanjay Temple.
  • Arrive at your hotel in Kaziranga in the late afternoon.
  • Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
  • Enjoy jungle activities inside the park, including Elephant and Jeep Safari.
  • Visit the Orchid Park to see various orchids and bamboo, and enjoy local folk dances such as Bihu and Jhumur.
  • Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

1. Entry ticket & Jeep safari are all regulated and controlled by the forest Dept. Govt. of Assam. We do not have any control on the booking of entry ticket & Jeep safari.

2. Elephant rides are conducted and controlled by the forest department. We cannot confirm the same in advance. The ticket counter for booking opens only in the evening, one day prior to the ride. Only after securing the tickets, we can confirm the ride for you.
