Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Drive to Nepal Border (Sunauli) from Gorakhpur / Reach Lumbini
  • Pick up from Gorakhpur Railway station (India).
  • Drive to Nepal Border(Sunauli) from Gorakhpur and head to Lumbini by road.
  • Reach the hotel and check-in followed by welcome drinks.
  • Spend the day at leisure.
  • Overnight stay in Lumbini.
  • After Breakfast, leave for half day Lumbini sightseeing.
  • There visit the Japanese temple, Chinese temple, Ashoka Piller, Buddha's birth place, Maya Garden and many more.
  • Then, head to Pokhara via Palpa.
  • On reaching Pokhara, check in to the hotel and spend time at leisure till evening.
  • In the evening enjoy leisurely walk around the Phewa Lake and lake side.
  • Return to the hotel.
  • Overnight stay in Pokhara.
  • After breakfast, proceed for a tour of the city.
  • There visit the Sarangkot, Pokhara valley, Davis Fall, Mahendra Cave, the famous Seti George and some beautiful temples like Bindhyabasini Temple and  Pokhara Museum.

  • After breakfast, head to Chitwan - one of the well-known national parks of Nepal.
  • Arrive at Chitwan and check-in at the hotel and enjoy watching the evening culture program arranged for you.
  • Overnight stay at hotel in Chitwan.
  • After breakfast, leave for the half day Safari and activities such as:
  • Canoe Trip: You can enjoy having canoe trip either in the Rapti River which is the border of the National Park.
  • Also, you can see two types of crocodiles, the Gharial and Mugger basking on the river bank.
  • There, you can also engage in activities like- birds watching, jungle safari, culture program, elephant bathing, and crocodile walk.
  • Return to the hotel and check-out.
  • Later, head back to Gorakhpur.

What's Good: I loved my short time in Bhutan. The hotels were Very nice and clean. Since I wanted to save money, I asked for only 3-star hotels, the hotel I was placed in were all very very (Read More) clean and included a breakfast buffet and dinner. We also stayed at a home stay out in the countryside with a beautiful valley-view and a wonderful host. The homestay allows one to have a more authentic experience staying and interacting with local Bhutanese people. We loved experiencing the delicious Bhutanese food and culture and will not hesitate to come again in the future. I was just not aware how much was included in our tour. We had guides taking us personally everywhere we went. And even dinner was included in our package! You can confidently utilize this company. They strive to go above and beyond your expectations.
What's Not Good: I could have been fine without including the dinner in our package and seeking out my own dinners outside. Had I mention Ed that to Asia Valley, I am sure they would have accommodated my request.

The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly, sharing fascinating insights throughout the trip. Our driver was very skilled and courteous, ensuring a safe and comfortable ride. The hotels they arranged were top-notch, offering excellent comfort and hospitality. Overall, Hitansh Wanderlust truly made our trip memorable with their outstanding service. Highly recommended!
What's Not Good: One hotel in Paro Udhamwara Resort. It was not as we excepted . Not recommended at all.

What's Good: ## Bhutan Experience Our journey through Bhutan was largely impressive, with knowledgeable guides who showcased the country's rich cultural heritage and stunning landscapes with g (Read More)enuine enthusiasm. The drivers navigated the winding mountain roads with skill and professionalism, ensuring our comfort throughout most of the journey. However, our second night at Paro Rema Resort fell short of expectations in terms of dining. The food quality was disappointing compared to other meals we enjoyed in Bhutan, lacking both flavor and presentation that would be expected at a resort of this caliber. ## Sikkim Portion The transition between destinations proved problematic. Our transfer from Bhutan to Gangtok felt unnecessarily rushed, with a driver who seemed more concerned with completing the journey quickly than ensuring passenger comfort or allowing us to appreciate the scenic route. Upon arrival in Gangtok, we were pleased with our hotel's prime location on MG Road, offering convenient access to local attractions, shopping, and dining options. Unfortunately, the hotel's service standards did not match its excellent location. Staff responsiveness was inconsistent, and several basic amenities were either missing or required multiple requests. Overall, while the Bhutan portion of our tour delivered a memorable experience, the Sikkim segment would benefit from significant improvements to transportation and accommodation service quality.
