Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Nairobi to Maasai Mara
- Pick up from the airport at 0630hrs and transfer to the office.
- Meet the group and depart for the Masai Mara Game Reserve via the Great Rift Valley viewpoint and Narok town for refueling.
- Arrive at the camp in time for lunch.
- Enjoy a short siesta before proceeding on the first game viewing in Masai Mara National Reserve.
- Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 Maasai Mara Full Day Game Drive
- After breakfast, embark on a full day of game viewing within the reserve.
- Explore the scenic savannah grasslands on rolling hills.
- Enjoy a picnic lunch at the hippo pool while watching for hippos and crocodiles.
- Return to Enchoro Wildlife Camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru
- Have an African breakfast at the camp, followed by an optional cultural tour.
- Interact with the locals and take photos to enhance your safari experience (tour lasts one hour).
- Depart from Masai Mara and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park via the Narok-Mau Road.
- Stop for a hot lunch en route and arrive in Nakuru in the evening.
- Check in at Buraha Zenoni Hotel and Suite for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 Lake Nakuru to Nairobi
- After breakfast, proceed on a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its prolific birdlife, including flamingos.
- Spot other wildlife, such as Cape buffalo and waterbuck, near the shoreline.
- Drive back to Nairobi with lunch en route, arriving between 1500hrs to 1600hrs.
- Drop off at Nairobi Budget Hotel, booked on a half-board basis for dinner and breakfast.
Day 5 Nairobi to Arusha
- Pick up from Nairobi Hotel and transfer to Jeevajee shuttle bus for the drive to Arusha.
- Depart Nairobi at 0800hrs, with a stopover at Namanga border for Immigration.
- Arrive in Arusha between 1400hrs and 1500hrs.
- Transfer to Charity Hotel, reserved on a half-board basis.
Day 6 Arusha to Serengeti National Park
- Start the Tanzania safari in the morning, departing for the Serengeti.
- Enjoy a scenic four-hour drive to the Serengeti, followed by a full day and late evening game drive.
- Dinner and overnight stay at Seronera Camp.
Day 7 Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
- Proceed for an early morning game drive, then return to the camp for breakfast.
- Pack and depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
- Arrive at Simba Camp for dinner and overnight stay (tents with beds and bedding).
Day 8 Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
- After breakfast, descend 2000ft into the Ngorongoro Crater for game viewing.
- Enjoy a picnic lunch at the crater before ascending and driving back to Arusha.
- Arrive at Charity Hotel between 1730hrs and 1830hrs, booked on a bed and breakfast basis.
