Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Dehradun - Transfer to Barkot (180 km / 6-7 hrs)

Arrive at Dehradun Airport.
Drive to Barkot, stopping at Kempty Falls in Mussoorie along the way.
Check-in at the hotel in Barkot.
Overnight stay in Barkot.

Day 2 Barkot to Yamunotri and back to Barkot (36 km drive + 6 km trek one way)

Early morning drive to Janki Chatti.
Start the trek to Yamunotri (Palki or basket service for kids available).
Visit Yamunotri Temple and take a holy dip in the hot springs.
Trek back to Janki Chatti and drive back to Barkot.
Overnight stay in Barkot.

Day 3 Barkot to Uttarkashi (100 km / 4 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi.
Visit Vishwanath Temple and Shakti Temple.
Check into your hotel in Uttarkashi.
Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

Day 4 Uttarkashi to Gangotri and back to Uttarkashi (100 km one way)

Early morning drive to Gangotri.
Visit Gangotri Temple and take a holy dip in the Ganges.
Drive back to Uttarkashi.
Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

Day 5 Uttarkashi to Guptkashi (220 km / 8-9 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Guptkashi.
Check into your hotel upon arrival.
Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Day 6 Guptkashi to Kedarnath (32 km drive + 18 km trek one way)

Early morning drive to Gaurikund.
Start the trek to Kedarnath (Palki service for adults or basket for kids available).
Check into your accommodation in Kedarnath.
Visit Kedarnath Temple for evening aarti.
Overnight stay in Kedarnath.

Day 7 Kedarnath to Guptkashi

After morning darshan at Kedarnath Temple, trek back to Gaurikund.
Drive back to Guptkashi.
Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Day 8 Guptkashi to Badrinath (160 km / 7 hrs) - Departure

After breakfast, drive to Badrinath.
Enroute, visit Joshimath and Narsingh Temple.
Visit Badrinath Temple and Tapt Kund for a holy dip.
Drive back to Dehradun for your departure flight, ending your pilgrimage with divine memories.

The accommodation provided was very good. The cab driver is very good, well behaved and knowledgeable about the area. He supported us all the way . Good customer service and suggestions from the Bharat journey representative. 1. Sea Lord hotel @ kochi - need to improve the conditions of rooms (bit smelly (Read More)when I enter the rooms) and aircon condition must be improve as well. 2. House boat and transportation at allepy looks high price compared to local price. Please look into that area.

Our stay was pleasant at both Guruvayoor and Alleppey House Boat. the quality of food was delicious and the hospitality extended to us was awesome. i dont mind (Read More)recomending my colleagues to choose Estire holidays for their holiday plan.. only thing we got puzzled was when we were told at Guruvayoor that tea and coffee do not form part of complimentary breakfast menu.

Pros They have made a tailor-made package for us. They have arranged us good vehicle with an experienced driver. They have spontaneously changed the travel (Read More)plan according to the conditions i.e hartal in kerala. Very polite, flexible and having patience. Cons It would be better if they have arranged guide familiar with places/ an english speaking driver. Accommodation arranged in Guruvayoor is not so good. Overall we will rate it as VERY GOOD.
