Day 1 Gorakhpur to Lumbini to Chitwan (Sauraha)
Gorakhpur to Lumbini: ~100 km (2.5-3 hrs, including border crossing)
Lumbini to Chitwan (Sauraha): ~160 km (4-5 hrs)
Activities:
  • Start early from Gorakhpur.
  • Visit the sacred birthplace of Lord Buddha at Lumbini.
  • Continue to Chitwan for an overnight stay in Sauraha.
Overnight: Chitwan (Sauraha)
Route: Chitwan âž” Janakpur
Distance: ~280 km (7-8 hrs)
Activities:
  • After breakfast, enjoy optional jungle safari activities (e.g., jeep safari, canoeing, or bird watching).
  • Drive to Janakpur in the afternoon.
Overnight: Janakpur

We visited Amsterdam, Paris and Switzerland in this family trip. Tour was well organized by Make My Trip. Tour guide Ronnie was excellent. Time management was good. All the days we could get Indian Fo (Read More)od atleast once in a day. Only weak point was vary small rooms for stay. Overall a wonderful tour.
