Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Guwahati - Shillong | Visit the Biggest Artificial Lake in Meghalaya (114.9 km, 3 Hours)

Arrive at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station. Meet your travel accomplice, who will take you to Shillong. On the way, visit the stunning man-made store, Umiam Lake (Borapani). The hotel gave you a warm welcome on arrival with a honeymoon cake and floral room décor.

After a good, heavy breakfast, start your journey towards Laitlum Canion. The scenic hill slopes of Laitlum are often called the theater of Meghalaya. After that, travel to Dawki Island, located within the Umngot River. Do different experience activities (on your own) like Boating, Kayaking, Sculling, Zip lining, etc on this island. Enjoy the Scenic couple’s photoshoot at Umiam LakeVisit Mawlynlong, Asia's cleanest town. Visit the Double Decker Bridge and stay overnight in Mawlynlong.

Wake up to see the beauty of East Khasi hills. Eat Breakfast and start your journey for Jowai to visit Phe Phe Falls & India's most magical waterfall: Krang Suri Waterfalls. Get drenched and swim in the natural pools. Travel back to Cherrapunji after witnessing this attractive place. On the way visit the Garden of Caves, Arwa Caves, 7 Sister Falls, and then check into your hotel. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji

Enjoy a lip-smacking breakfast in the morning. Start the trek to the Double Decker Root Bridge (Nongriat). Once you finish your sightseeing for the Double Decker Root Bridge, you head to grasp a stunning view of Nohkalikai Falls, Dainthlen Falls, Wei-Sawdong Falls, Mawsawa Falls, Lyngksiar Falls, Mawsawdong Falls, Wah-Kaba Falls.  Return to your hotel and Overnight stay in Cherrapunji

Have a delightful breakfast & start your journey towards the Mawphlang Sacred Grooves. An untouched forest that is the soul of Khasi culture, Mawphlang is home to the most celebrated of all the 'law-kyntang' or ancient sacred grovesof Meghalaya. Post that we will be visiting the Golf Links, Cathedral Church, Don Bosco Monument, Botanical Garden, Lady Hydari Park, and boating on Ward’s Lake. Overnight stay in Shillong

Check out of the hotel and prepare to transfer back to Guwahati as early as possible. Visit the Famous Kamakhya Temple. Proceed to Guwahati Airport/Railway Station. You will then take on your return journey and bring this experience to an end.

The driver Britu Das was extremely friendly and made our journey smooth and enjoyable. Special thanks to Mr. Ujjal and Mr. Amit, who coordinated everything so well. They were always available and supportive, and even when we requested last-minute changes to our itinerary, they accommodated us without any hassle. They went above and beyond to give us the best possible experience and ensured we covered most of the key attractions. The itinerary was thoughtfully designed and executed as planned.
