Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Varanasi
  • Arrive at Varanasi airport/railway station and be escorted to your hotel.
  • Check-in to your hotel. 
  • Later, proceed for sightseeing in Varanasi.
  • Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple (B.H.U), Sankat Mochan Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple, Durga Temple, Tridev Temple, and Kaudi Mata Temple.
  • In the evening, attend Ganga Aarti and enjoy boating on the river Ganga at Dasaswamedh Ghat.
  • Overnight stay at Varanasi.
  • In the early morning, go for a boat ride and visit the Ghats.
  • Return to the hotel.
  • After breakfast, visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple and BHU, and Sarnath Museum.
  • Later, proceed to Bodh Gaya.
  • On arrival at Bodh Gaya, check in to the hotel.
  • Overnight stay at Bodh Gaya.
  • After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing in Bodh Gaya.
  • Visit Mahabodhi Temple, Bodhi Tree, Great Buddha Statue, Chinese Temple, Barabar Caves, Ajapala Nigrodha Tree, and Royal Bhutan Monastery.
  • Also, visit Gaya.
  • Visit Vishnupaad Temple for Ritual Pinda Dann pooja and Mangala Gauri Darshan.
  • Return to the hotel.

  • After breakfast, proceed to Rajgir.
  • Check-in to the hotel and later proceed for sightseeing.
  • Visit Rajgir Hot springs, Japanese Shanti Stupa, Venuvana, Gridhakuta or Vulture's Peak.
  • Take a ride on Rajgir Ropeway.
  • Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
  • After breakfast, proceed to Nalanda.
  • On arrival, check in to the hotel and later proceed for a sightseeing tour.
  • Visit Nalanda University, Nalanda Archeological Museum, The Great Stupa and Hiuen Tsang Memorial Hall.
  • Overnight stay in Nalanda.
  • After breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to the nearest railway station/ airport for your journey back home.

The booking and arrangements initially was excellent. Reeta was contacting me almost daily to assist me and finalise my itenerary. She also accommodated my pref (Read More)erred hotel requests. I then made payment ,on 7 October 2024. Since then Reeta has stopped communicating. She however did ask her office to send me internal travel arrangements (after I requested the details) and I have since only had communications from Nikhil from her office. I just feel that I should have been advised by Reeta, that after initial sale by her , I will be handed over to her office admin for ongoing communication. Then I would understand. Otherwise I just felt neglected. Hope it all starts and ends well. I only arrive in Mumbai on 11/11/2024. But still dont know who will meet me at airport. Regards Mano
