Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arusha to Central Serengeti

Arrive in Arusha. After breakfast, you’ll head to Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Descending into the Serengeti, you’ll arrive at the central park area known as Seronera. This rich wildlife habitat centered around the Seronera River attracts a variety of species.

After arriving in time for lunch, you’ll enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park.

Day 2 Central to Northern Serengeti

You’ll start the day with an early breakfast before embarking on a full-day game drive in the Serengeti, focused on following the wildebeest migration.

The migration varies yearly, but the best viewing times are July to October, with wildebeest calving from December to March.

From July to September, your guide can take you to the northern Serengeti to witness the wildebeest crossing the Mara River.

Over a million wildebeest move year-round in search of fresh grazing and water. After the game drive, you’ll return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3 Full Day Game drive in Northern Serengeti

After a relaxed breakfast, you will leave the camp with a packed lunch box ready to embark on a full-day game drive in the park. The main theme is to spot the migration. After finalizing the game drive, you will be taken back to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4 Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Wake up early and have coffee before heading out on your morning game drive. You will watch the sunrise and then return to the campsite by 11:00 am for brunch.

After you finish eating, you head out on another game drive en route to the Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 5 Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After breakfast, you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive, where you can spot the Big Five, zebra, and more, with the Great Rift Wall as a backdrop.

You can also visit the local Masai people to learn about their culture. In the late afternoon, you’ll be driven back to Arusha and dropped off at your hotel or the airport.

Very genuine with suggestions and doesn't do things as a job or formality. 3. James is very knowledgeable. 4. The enthusiasm and passion shown by James was just so infectious. 5. The planning of itinerary takes care of all the finer details. 6. They really take care of your focus and they don't try to sell anything you are not interested in. For example we skipped the village visit because we didn't see value in it. 7. Quite flexible and adjusts as things progress.
