Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive at the Camp
  • Arrive at the road of the rafting point at Shivpuri by 10:00 AM.
  • After a brief, commence rafting from Shivpuri to NIM beach.
  • Packed lunch is served upon the completion of rafting and time is given to change into dry clothes.
  • A vehicle follows you downstream and meets you at the finish point of the rafting with the luggage.
  • At 2:00 PM after lunch, we head to the camp which takes approximately 2 hours.
  • In an effort to maintain the isolation of a jungle camp; it is located at a distance of 2kms from the road.
  • Hence the team would hike for approximately 30 minutes to reach the camp.
  • Tea/coffee with cookies is served upon arrival.
  • Camp briefing and registration of the participants followed by tent allotments.
  • Bonfire and snacks would be set up at 7:00 PM.
  • Later soup and dinner will be served.
  • Tea would be served at 7:00 AM.
  • Breakfast at 8:00 AM.
  • Post breakfast the team will indulge in various adventure activities and sports, such as rappelling, cliff jumping, swimming in the river, kayaking, and playing beach volleyball.
  • Lunch will be served during these activities.
  • Evening tea/coffee and cookies would be served at 4:00 PM.
  • In the evening the group has a choice, either to relax or go out for a nature hike.
  • Bonfire and snacks would be set up at 7:00 PM.
  • Later soup and dinner will be served.
  • After the early morning breakfast the team bids adieu to the camp to commence rafting.
  • Based on your choice of the section we organize your departure from the camp.
  • The recommended stretch is Camp to Shivpuri, this saves a lot of time and is the most hassle-free.
  • In case you wish to raft from Marine Drive or Shivpuri, then the group has to walk back to the road head and depart early from the camp and then drive down to the starting point of rafting either Marine Drive or Rishikesh.
  • The rapids on the rivers are mostly Grade II.
  • While rafting one can also get to see the native exotic birds.
  • At the finishing point of rafting, we offer packed lunch.
  • Your vehicle awaits you with your luggage post-lunch.
  • Change into dry clothes and proceed for your onward journey.
  • Tour ends.

What's Good: I loved my short time in Bhutan. The hotels were Very nice and clean. Since I wanted to save money, I asked for only 3-star hotels, the hotel I was placed in were all very very (Read More) clean and included a breakfast buffet and dinner. We also stayed at a home stay out in the countryside with a beautiful valley-view and a wonderful host. The homestay allows one to have a more authentic experience staying and interacting with local Bhutanese people. We loved experiencing the delicious Bhutanese food and culture and will not hesitate to come again in the future. I was just not aware how much was included in our tour. We had guides taking us personally everywhere we went. And even dinner was included in our package! You can confidently utilize this company. They strive to go above and beyond your expectations.
What's Not Good: I could have been fine without including the dinner in our package and seeking out my own dinners outside. Had I mention Ed that to Asia Valley, I am sure they would have accommodated my request.

Their service was incredibly timely and professional, making th (Read More)e entire journey smooth and stress-free. The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly, sharing fascinating insights throughout the trip. Our driver was very skilled and courteous, ensuring a safe and comfortable ride. The hotels they arranged were top-notch, offering excellent comfort and hospitality. Overall, Hitansh Wanderlust truly made our trip memorable with their outstanding service. Highly recommended!
What's Not Good: One hotel in Paro Udhamwara Resort. It was not as we excepted . Not recommended at all.

What's Good: ## Bhutan Experience Our journey through Bhutan was largely impressive, with knowledgeable guides who showcased the country's rich cultural heritage and stunning landscapes with g (Read More)enuine enthusiasm. The drivers navigated the winding mountain roads with skill and professionalism, ensuring our comfort throughout most of the journey. However, our second night at Paro Rema Resort fell short of expectations in terms of dining. The food quality was disappointing compared to other meals we enjoyed in Bhutan, lacking both flavor and presentation that would be expected at a resort of this caliber. ## Sikkim Portion The transition between destinations proved problematic. Our transfer from Bhutan to Gangtok felt unnecessarily rushed, with a driver who seemed more concerned with completing the journey quickly than ensuring passenger comfort or allowing us to appreciate the scenic route. Upon arrival in Gangtok, we were pleased with our hotel's prime location on MG Road, offering convenient access to local attractions, shopping, and dining options. Unfortunately, the hotel's service standards did not match its excellent location. Staff responsiveness was inconsistent, and several basic amenities were either missing or required multiple requests. Overall, while the Bhutan portion of our tour delivered a memorable experience, the Sikkim segment would benefit from significant improvements to transportation and accommodation service quality.
