Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival
- Arrive at the Bandaranaike International Airport and be warmly greeted by our professional chauffeur guide.
- Check in to the hotel.
- After lunch, head to experience a private Safari Jeep tour at the Minneriya National Park.
- There, witness the ‘Gathering’ of elephants assembled on the banks of Minneriya National Park Reservoir during the dry season.
- Accoding to the Wild Life Authorities, the Minneriya gathering is the world’s largest grouping of wild Asian elephants at any given time.
- Head back to the hotel.
- Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 2 Sigiriya to Kalkudah and Passekudah beach
- Head to visit the Sigiriya lion rock after an early breakfast, the best time to climb the rock before it get too hot.
- Later, visit the famous Dambulla cave temple. The Dambulla cave temple also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla is a World Heritage Site in Sri Lanka. It is home to the Worlds most acclaimed cave complex of magnificent Buddha Images and Rock Paintings of vivid colours and shapes constructed and painted from around 2nd Century BC.
- After lunch, check out of the hotel and depart to Kalkudah and Passekudah beaches.
- Arrive at the resort and check in to the resort.
- Overnight stay in the resort.
Day 3 Tour of Passekudah and Kalkudah Beaches
- After breakfast, head on a tour to beaches.
- First, head to Kalkudah and Passekudah beaches which are within walking distance of two breath-taking beaches.
- They are situated on the less developed East coast.Two spectacular back to back stretches of sand.
- Unwind and relax at this amazing beachs for the next two days.
- Return to the resort for dinner.
- Overnight stay in the resort.
Day 4 Exploring beaches
- After breakfast, head to explore more on these beaches.
- White sand, shallow waters, coral reefs and palm trees makes Passekudah and Kalkudah beaches ideal places to spend the day on the seaside.
- Passekudah Bay’s shallow waters offer a perfectly safe environment for learning how to swim and are a popular bathing spot.
- There are also possibilities to snorkel, to fish and have some boat rides around. The beach is wide and goes on and on as far as one can see!
- Spend day at leisure.
- Return to the hotel for dinner.
- Overnight stay in the resort.
Day 5 Off to Kandy
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and continue journey towards Kandy
- The main attraction of the city and also the most sacred Buddhist establishment in Sri Lanka is where one of Lord Buddha’s tooth is being kept with all due respect.
- Later head to the Gem museum/lapidary.
- Also, visit the Royal Palace complex.
- Later, in the evening watch the spectacular Sri Lankan Cultural Dance Show where artists are marvel at drums, dancs and even you can watch fire eaters and fire walkers.
- Return to the hotel for dinner.
- Overnight stay in Kandy.
Day 6 Sightseeing of Kandy
- After breakfast, head out for sightseeing of amazing places in Kandy.
- First, visit the Royal Botanical Garden which consists of some 4,000 different species of plants and 10,000 of tree.
- Later, head to Batik Factory, followed by visiting the Mask making Factory.
- Return to the hotel for dinner.
- Overnight stay in the Kandy.
Day 7 Off to Colombo
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Colombo.
- Reach Colombo and check in to the hotel.
- After lunch, head to visit Independence Square .
- Also visit, BMICH, Town Hall and Dawatagaha Jumma Masjid
- Later, give a visit to the Sri Jayewardenapura.
- Spend the evening strolling along Beira lake.
- Return to the hotel for dinner.
- Over night stay in Colombo.
Day 8 Off to Galle
- After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed for a half day trip to the places in Colombo.
- Head to visit the Gangaramaya Temple.
- Also, visit the Dutch Hospital.
- Later head to Galle.
- Reach galle and check in to the hotel.
- There, visit to the Turtle Conservation Project.
- Also, visit the 17th century Dutch Fort.
- Return to the hotel for dinner.
- Overnight stay in the Galle.
Day 9 Departure
- After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to the airport for departure.

We recently visited Sri-Lanka with Roundtrip Sri lanka, It was indeed an unforge (Read More)ttable experience we had from the time we landed at Colombo Airport till our return back for the flight.
Vikky Sir, has assisted us during our visit for a week, our itinerary was well planned and selections of the place and interest to visit was very encouraging.
Vikky worked as a true gem for complete travel duration took us to all the main points of interest we wanted to visit during our stay, He is very trustworthy and professional in his work. He look after to our travel requirement and make sure we complete them as well.
Another plus for his side is the punctuality, he was always their waiting for us in the morning at designated time to make sure we do not miss our day plan in a rush but with ease and enjoyment.
He took us to the Tea Factory, and the experience was truly amazing visiting the tea factory and tea gardens really was one of the agenda in our tour and this was possible with Vikky’s guidance.

The Guide cum driver Premarathna was very warm and friendly. Well maintained car (Read More). We didnt have to hurry through anywhere and remained relaxed throughout.
Since we had insisted upon vegetarian food, the hotels did manage their best to provide us something palatable to us throughout.
The morning breakfast tea at Bentota was the best ever we had in Sri Lanka
The Accommodation at Kandy was a huge letdown. A 20 year old building which was (Read More) under renovation and the room had lizards moving around ! The courteouness of the staff was the saving grace there.
The Bentota resort though good had a lizard too in the room when we entered. fortunately the housekeeping staff removed it.
