    Would gladly stay here again on a return to Stone Town
    Really liked it's location. We were right on the beach and easily able to walk to the Old Fort and the food market. Great location. Interior decor very much Zanzibar feel, ornate, intricate and beautiful. We also enjoyed our meals (the best food we had in Zanzibar). We had beef biryani, a penne pasta, a beef burger. Totally yummy! They were also quick to organise breakfast boxes for us and transport given that we had an early morning flight. The welcome drinks were divine and the staff were very friendly and polite.
    The room was smaller than I expected, but having said that it was comfortable, very clean with lovely things like the fruit basket and complimentary wine on arrival (which we didn't drink...but was a lovely touch regardless).

    Everything was great, staff very pleasant except reception staff made several errors with the accout
    The rooms were nice except some lights did not work and the water was not hot.
    The reception staff were slow and the equipment was not working - scanning machine.

    Lovely convenient hotel to explore Stone Town
    This a lovely old world fell hotel, situated directly on the waterfront with a small beach. It is also very close for all walks around Stone Town. It has been beautifully renovated We had a large front sea facing room with a large balcony which was perfect for relaxing. The staff are so friendly and helpful and made us really feel at home. The restaurant serves lovely food on a terrace over looking the beach Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Trips can be arranged via the helpful front desk staff.
