Il return . Lovely winter break before back to the grind

Immaculate rooms at the windermere/ watersedge inn complex. Breakfast excellent fantastic choice .. lovely lady doing the breakfast duties. Sorry no name .blonde lady with a southern accent ..

At the inn .. pint of beer a bit too pricey for my liking but standard for the area. Should be a reduced rate for tight fisted northerners like me .

We stayed Twixmas for my wifes birthday. The lake was lapping at the door after all the rain. The hotel was very busy a

Location. We have been many times to Waterhead, this was the first time since the takeover and refurbishment. The bar staff were very good and did any job.

The room was newly renovated and comfortable, the only complaint was the loo kept on flushing and the shower dripped heavily all the time.

Good but too impersonal and short staffed.

The staff are very helpful and friendly. The location and decor of the water edge and Windermere are very good. The view from our room 71 was good.

The staff all seemed over stretched and had to multitask. We have stayed here many times previously but it is now more corporate than it was. You cannot get through to the hotel on the phone you get diverted to the central office. I had several email reminders about the stay but all appeared to be no reply emails. Breakfast used to served its now buffet style and food was not very hot, sitting under the lamps. Bathroom in room was cramped and fan not working. Limited choice left on menu - only half of menu was available. Room was not ready for 3.00 pm.

Enough choice of breakfast foods and room decor was nice

Not much hot drink choice and food was stale. Our room smelt of dog and had dog hairs on the cushions. This made me unwell and full of a cold. The rooms wall are very thin as you can hear everything next door are saying. Dogs were barking and So you couldnt sleep very well.

We would definitely visit again in future and recommend to friends to visit.

The property is at great location. The staff is . Everyone was so welcoming. Chef is so nice. We tried onion rings, cauliflower vegan curry with rice and pizza. Breakfast was so satisfying. Highlight of our trip was CAS helped us to kindly find a cab on Boxing Day when we were struggling to find transportation and we reached home safely.
