Guests at the Lakehouse at The Waterhead Inn enjoyed spacious, clean rooms with comfortable beds and good fixtures. The staff were friendly and resolved issues promptly. The location was ideal, with (Read More)great views of the lake, and the breakfast was excellent. However, some guests felt the room was overpriced for the standard, noting stains on the carpet and mold in the bathroom. Despite this, they appreciated the professionalism of the staff.

Very good

We had a two night break for New Year and included the party and meal. It was excellent, making it a memorable night.

Beautiful and comfortable in an excellent location.

very good stay

Extremely clean, Well decorated for Christmas Breakfast is good but not top notch The bar's food is DELICIOUS Room is spacious Brilliant view, if your room has one

the fact that residents of the bakehouse have to cross the street for the reception, breakfast and bar is something to think about bar food is too expensive matrices and pillows are extremely soft to the degree that one may fall of them room is too hot and lights are dim no wardrobe, instead some weird set of shelves

Lovely hotel with an amazing view of Windermere. Had a dog friendly lake view room which was spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfy. The view from the room was perfect. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend it.

Really nice dog friendly hotel with lovely restaurant and bar.

Lovely hotel. Our room was upgraded which meant we actually stayed in the main Waterhead building which was great. Lovely restaurant and bar area, friendly staff.

Bit of a pain that you have to walk out of the hotel to reach the restaurant and bar, even if youre staying in the main building. It was hammering it down all weekend so it was a bit of a pain having to put our soaking wet coats back on when going for breakfast/dinner. Very glad we got upgraded to the main building as I wouldnt have fancied the walk down from the Lakehouse. Relatively minor though and doesnt take away from how nice the hotel is.
