Very pleasant stay. Good value for money

The manager who greeted us when we checked in was very welcoming despite being rushed off his feet. The room No.9 was a good size with a big bed. The bathroom however was rather cramped. The toilet was fitted into a corner and could only be accessed side saddle with obvious problems. Shower was good. We had a nice pre dinner drink in the bar in two very comfy chairs and dinner was very good. The staff at this hotel are so obliging despite obviously short staffed. They are also happy and cheerful. Breakfast was very good and more than generous. We did find the English breakfast a bit overwhelming and would have liked a smaller portion which we did ask for and the waitress fed into her device. We saw a lot of waste. However the food was perfectly cooked and I know some people like a large plate. Perhaps offer a large English or a smaller one of everything. Overall this is good hotel and value for money. The effort gone into Christmas decorations showed and gave the bar and dining area a cosy feel. The manager and staff should get a pat on the back for the effort they make with obvious staff shortages.

Disappointing

Great location, nice staff but needs overhaul and updating in tge accommodation quarters

Very friendly staff and excellent location

Rock hard beds, lack of storage in rooms, poor lighting in the rooms, menu choices severely restricted and drinks incredibly expensive (Fanta 300ml was 4.05!!)

The wifi connection was poor.Kept dropping out. That is a GK problem not the hotel.

Totally underated. Value for money. Top class staff.

Breakfast ok. Would have liked tinned tomatoes and bacon more cooked. Christmas dinner bit salty for my taste. Croissant stale unfortunately. But... Carl, you, your team are all top class. Your staff are a credit to you and the company. Beautifully decorated, service 100. Value for money. Last minute booking so didn't have time to look at loads of hotels. I could not have chosen better if I'd have had more time to browse. Thank you.

Very good

A very pleasant stay and good value.

The white rabbit was very festive nicely decorated and staff welcoming. The room was comfortable and provided tea and coffee. Easy to walk into the centre of Lyndhurst We had an excellent breakfast. Also had an enjoyable dinner, and attentive staff.

Amazing

Everything was incredible and the host Bunny was so lovely! We came all the way from Canterbury Kent and stopped here halfway to newquay Cornwall. Already booked to stay here on the way home again! Amazing food, brilliant price. So clean!

Would definitely stay again.

Staff were great. I had requested a twin room via booking.com but the hotel didn't have any twin rooms available so they found an additional room that was 'out of service' due to needing a new lock. They gave it to us free of charge for the night with a big wedge to stick under the door. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant and very filling breakfast the next morning.

Nothing. Great location, just a short stroll to high street and plenty of cafes and shops. Very helpful staff and great breakfast.
