    Amazing location on one of the best beaches in SL! Safe for swimming with young kids.
    The service was excellent. the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and attended quickly to all our needs. The independent surfing instructors were great too! We loved our room as well particularly the balcony. The location is amazing, just a few steps from a smooth sandy beach with the perfect waves for all levels of surfers. The water is shallow for a long way in without any rocks which makes it ideal for families with younger kids.
    The childrens playroom can be improved. There isnt much inside. However the attendants in there were great. Also they use an oil in the ground floor to keep the insects away which smells pretty terrible, maybe a better scent

    Ideal location, but the food was bland and activity options were underwhelming and/or overpriced
    The room was comfortable with beautiful views, the pool and beachside amenities were great.
    The food was lacking; seafood at the onsite restaurant was bland. For a 5 star hotel we expected fresh, delicious dishes. We ended up dining elsewhere the majority of our stay for cheaper (and better options). We were also told there would be yoga at sunrise every day but never saw a class take place. Additionally, we booked our own whale watching tour as the activities onsite were grossly up-charged (for ex: $60 USD for transit to Mirissa, versus a $5 tuk-tuk to travel ~3 miles).
