Beds and pillows need updating as old and very uncomfortable

The bed seemed old. Very uncomfortable and had backache as it was sunken in areas. Pillows were awful, like big bricks. I've stayed in village hotels alot over the years and the beds and pillows have always been great. Felt like they were old and needed replacing.

Exceptionally low standards to this hotel.

The meal in the pub.

Cold water in shower and bath Loud music all night from the opposite room. Heating didn't work correctly. Poorly trained managers unable to authorise refunds. Dirty leisure area and slime in the swimming pool. Overcrowded in leisure area. Pool staff looked disinterested in health and safety

Disappointed

It was clean and staff were lovely

My husband bottoms got stolen from the changing rooms and feel as there wasnt enough bands for the lockers this caused distress and upset and really put a downer on our experience. Lack of accountability from the hotel and not really reviving much support or help.

Good comfortable rooms. Service could be better.

Room was very comfortable, spacoius and clean.

We booked 2 rooms but one was not ready when we checked in (after the check in time). Although the first person at the check in desk was really good - when we came back later - the desk wasn't manned. Then tge key didn't work as the door control battery had run out. Also when I phoned to try and add breakfast - no one answered. Breakfast was basic and a bit over cooked. Minor annoyances which would have made a reasonable stay even better
