The Viceroy Snowmass offers superb ski in ski out convenience with helpful and friendly staff. The hotel has a beautiful location, recently remodeled lobby and restaurant, and excellent service. The (Read More)breakfast could be improved, but overall the hotel provides a great experience. The staff is amazing, the rooms are lovely, and the spa is good. The location is perfect for skiing or summer activities. The rooms are clean and the service is top-notch. The hotel has a heated swimming pool and a convenient cable car nearby. The restaurant and bar are also enjoyable. Overall, the Viceroy Snowmass receives high ratings for rooms, safety, walkability, and food and drinks.

Very good

Great Overall Stay but Watch Your Charges

Beautiful accommodations right in the heart of Aspen Snowmass. The room had tremendous amenities - full kitchen, hot tub, stand-up shower, large bathroom, front room sitting area, and a great view of the mountains. The staff was friendly overall, particularly the guys in the early AM. I had dinner at the restaurant and it was excellent. They have a diverse menu, including elk and bison.

We had a mishap with the charges. Booking.com charged the rate upon booking. When I arrived to check-in, the front desk clerk charged the same rate plus the $500 damage deposit. I thought this to be strange but they assured me it was fine and I wasn't double-charged. Well, I was (both charges debited; weren't 'pending' anymore). I informed the hotel staff, but they said it was Booking.com's fault and to reach out to them about it. When I contacted Booking.com, they said it was the hotel's fault. Lots of finger-pointing. After I escalated it, it was finally corrected and refunded by the Viceroy. In the end, I'm glad it was rectified, but there was a lot of unnecessary back-and-forth and time spent on this.

Free shuttle was wonderful and the staff, especially the drivers, were nice. Beds were comfortable.

We had to leave right at 7am and asked the night before if there would be any option to get a coffee 5 minutes early and were told no. There were staff around in the morning and it was frustrating to pay that much for a night and not be met halfway with this request. Also, we booked this hotel with the pool in mind and it was not made aware to us that there was construction right next to the pool.

We went during off-season, so the expectations were low, but the prices arent low! I highly recommend Glenwood Springs,

The location was is a perfect scenic spot, great for skiers. The staff was very nice and the half glass of champagne offered arrival was delicious.

One way in, to the valetno other options. There is a lot of construction in the immediate area, as they are adding timeshare units. Toro, the only restaurant, was mediocre. The food was nothing to write home about. The trout was burnt on the skin side and very dry meat. Salmon, wasokay. Wine and cocktails were very good, but when the server picked up the empty glasses, he didnt ask if we wanted another round. First time that has ever happened! Too many dogs hanging around the bar. REALLY. No, they werent Service dogs. We never went back to Toro. Pool and pool bar was very nice. Bar food came from Toro, so we drove to Glenwood Springs for decent food. This was intended to be a one-time experience, thank goodness.

We did not get the apartment booked !!! The apartment was to have two bedrooms and two bathrooms, while there was only one bathroom and one bedroom. After intervention we were added an extra room connected by a door but it was not a two room suite but two connected rooms. We asked for the apartment to be changed to one that is in line with the reservation and we received information that we had such a reservation. First of all, it was not our booking because it was two connected rooms and there were two kitchens. The total area may be 65 square meters. There were 100 square meters in the booking. Only after my long pleas that I could not have such a two-room hybrid, because I am in a wheelchair, we were promised an exceptionally (sic!)Apartment from the second day of our stay. We were asked to move out of the room the next morning and wait for a suite in the lobby. I refused and stayed in the room until the apartment was available. I feel cheated, I have a disgust, because if it weren't for my stubbornness, we would live in small, connected rooms, instead of in an apartment, paying as for an apartment. As a disabled person, I would not be able to function in rooms where I could hardly move in a wheelchair. We were not apologized for the situation, we were not refunded the price difference for the first night.
