A tired, noisy budget accommodation

5 min walk from Mestre train station and bus to the airport Comfortable bed

Kitchen wasnt clean, especially the fridge which was filthy . Old food was left on the table for the 24 hours we were there Other guests were smoking in the kitchen with no one around to enforce the no smoking rule No one was at the property when we arrived despite pre advising of arrival time and we were left outside in the cold for 30 mins Shower water intermittent hot and cold Quite a lot of ants in the room Very noisy at night with other guests coming back between 11pm and 2am due to thin walls and loud internal doors

A NIGHTMARE, I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT THE HOTEL RELOCATED US TO ANOTHER ROOM WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION, THEY MOVED OUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS WITHOUT APPROVAL WHILE WE WERE EXPLORING VENICE. We were shocked with our two-year-old child. Without our consent and approval, they handled and moved our belongings, which we had carefully arranged the night before after checking in and staying in the room. They wrapped everything in a children's blanket and threw it into another room.THEY PROHIBITED THE USE OF THE KITCHEN (stating that it was now closed to us, even though before the relocation, we lived on the 3rd floor near the kitchen). Until a scandal occurred due to a hungry child and the fact that using the kitchen was part of the conditions, they did not allow us to use it. Terrible hotel, I do not recommend it. NOWHERE ELSE HAVE I ENCOUNTERED A SITUATION WHERE, AFTER A WALK, YOU RETURN, AND YOU HAVE NO ACCESS TO YOUR ROOM, AND YOUR BELONGINGS ARE ALREADY CRUMPLED IN A CHILDREN'S BLANKET IN ANOTHER ROOM. and In this hotel, everything is grimy, and there are drug addicts on the playground in front of the hotel

Good enough for a short stay.

Although it was only one space for 4 people, it was enough for our short stay.

There was only one blanket and we got cold during the night. Although the room was clean I found some peices of cut nails on the floor.

Everything was good, except additional cost for late checkin without rule in advance.

The location is very good, it's closed to the Mestre station, just few minutes of walking. Ali super market few hundred meters away has a lot of kinds of goods with very good price. The most thing I like in this hotel is a shared kitchen with all necessary kitchenwares for you to cook a normal dinner. The kitchen in the ground floor is to share among 3 rooms in this floor only.

Extra cost for late checkin without in the policy described in Booking. We arrived here from Lecco through Milan Centrale. Our train was expected to arrive in Mestre around 9pm. However on that date there was a strike in the train company of Trenord which serves the train from Lecco to Milan, that caused us missing the train from Milan to Venice Messtre. We needed to buy new tickets for Milan-Venice with the price at last minutes, and then we arrived hotel at around 11pm. We informed that to the staff of hotel and were informed that we had to pay extra cost of 15eur for late checkin, normal checkin no later than 10pm. We were quite shocked about this, since never met the similar rule before, even it was not described in Booking introduction.

The accommodation itself is comfortable, the conditions correspond to the price. The mattresses are comfortable, we slep

the unqualified employee at the reception spoiled the whole mood at first. There sat a 16-year-old boy who does not know how to work with customers and is not interested in making people happy with the accommodation. I do not want to pay money and receive such a service. Despite the fact that he was asked simple questions: when can you check in, where can you leave things and how to enter the room late at night? There were unclear answers to all questions. When we asked who could answer our questions, we heard something incomprehensible in response. We came later at 2:00 p.m., as we were promised, and we still had to wait, because there was no qualified person in the hotel at that time. In the evening, a qualified woman came and apologized for the uncomfortable situation, the conflict was resolved, but the first impression was not very pleasant.

[RACIST] Beware if you are an Asian and staying here

It was clean overall.

When we were about to use the SHARED KITCHEN on our second night, the director, Elena Kovak, barged in, literally grabbed all our roceries and yelled at us to get out and the kitchen is not available to be used without a proper apology or explanation. During this conversation, she called me a CHINK; I couldn't believe what I've heard. She took us downstairs to try to give us an explanation and it seemed like someone booked the entire 3rd floor where the kitchen is and we can't use it. While explaining the reason, she said "you should be thankful you're not sleeping in the parking lot. Why would I sleep out there? I've paid for the service including the kitchen. She was extremely rude and did exactly opposite of what she said she would in her description saying something along the line of "I speak many languages and prioritize our dear guests..." The worst ever experience I had in Italy, perhaps my entire life. She literally said she doesn't care about us leaving a bad review so here is one for you Elena.
