Tropical feel

Some of the wood on decks and buildings was rotted and needs replacing. The pool was close to our door and the kids screaming woke us up when we wanted to sleep in

Highly recommend

We loved the location and the room was nice. We had a full kitchen and a king bed. We loved the private hot tub. Over all I would highly recommend and will stay here again

The shower was tiny. Almost like a cruise ship shower.

As soon as I arrived and was given a tour around the resort I was thrilled with excitement the view was so beautiful and the location is so convenient so many things to do close by I cant wait to visit again

The washer seemed to have been broken when I tried to use it

Fruenfky staff, but very rustic

It is located on the south side of the island, away from Siesta Key Village, on the bay side. The landscaping is very pretty but not very manicured. the staff was lovely and available to answer our many questions about Siesta Key and the many attractions around.

This is not a resort as we imagine resorts to be. it is more like a motel, no resort type amenities like a fitness area, restaurant, or even maid service. But that would be just fine with us, its just that it is not what we expected. Our real issue has been the OLD sheets, and dated (read worn out, stained) furniture and bedding (comforter was old, faded, and ripped, pillows were lumpy and flat).

Good location, run down facility with lots of bugs. Not worth it for the price.

Excellent location for beach access and about 10 minutes to Siesta Key Village.

TONS of mosquitoes that get inside very easily, no housekeeping, the rooms are run down, and a cockroach ran across my husband's head while we were sleeping the first night.

Fabulous location amongst the amazing wildlife of Siesta Key, it was perfect for a relaxing stay close to the Gulf beaches.

Needs a little modernisation throughout but did not impact on our wonderful stay

Charming and very quirky set up for a private family stay in the beautiful area of Turtle Beach. Wonderful staff and beautiful location, very chilled out vibes

More crockery, glassware and cutlery please! We were struggling with family of 4, only 1 wine glass for example .. Our hot tub, although private was adjacent to the parking lot..would therefore choose another cottage with more privacy or better views
