Guests had a wonderful stay at Tru By Hilton Charlotte Ayrsley. The staff members, Cemone J. and Linda M., were very helpful and accommodating. The rooms were extremely clean and spacious, with a lar (Read More)ge bed and enough space for pets. The staff was friendly towards dogs. The common areas of the hotel were clean and tidy. Breakfast was good. The only downside was that the rooms were not soundproof. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with clean rooms and responsive staff. Some guests suggested having a microwave in addition to the mini fridge in the rooms.

Terrible service without any common courtesy

The location is nice. The lobby was very cute with some nice chair swings.

The clerk ignored us for 15 minutes before greeting us then moved on without even telling us where the elevator was. They charged a $35 deposit up front for snacks that I didnt want and I dont think they refunded it. There was something like a bloody handprint on the soap dispenser and when we called the front desk the clerk said that wasnt her responsibility but she would tell the cleaning crew for the morning. The bed was very hard and the pillows were flat. No extra pillows. There were greasy palm prints on the headboard above the bed that made us wonder. But we knew better than to try to get them cleaned. We probably should have just left, but we were so tired. In the morning, there was one elderly woman trying to serve like 50 guests. No eggs. No sausage. No pancakes. No milk. Only dry cereal and a couple English muffins. There was huge competition to get a cart for the luggage. It was like hunger games. No service, no courtesy, and not enough of anything. We will not be back.

No microwave or coffee maker in room. 2nd shift girl was always on phone and acted as if I was interrupting her if I had a question.

Booked there because my mother in law likes Tru but we were not satisfied with this location.

The beds were soft and the shower was nice.

I always book with Tru and they always allow early check in however this location didnt which caused a lot of issues with our trip. We called prior and they said the rooms would be ready at 12, but upon arrival they said 3pm. The floors were dirty in the hallways and elevator, and our entire floor smelled of weed.

Horrible front desk staff

The customer service was horrible! had to wait over an hour for them to find my reservation. called Custer service while waiting and the front desk staff wouldnt answer for them diner. The front desk staff was so rude and once she finally found the reservation she was so nonchalant about it and didnt even apologize for the inconvenience. had to ask for a new room because the screen was broken in the first room. the front desk didnt apologize for that either and instead acted like it was an inconvenience to her to swap the rooms.
