The Tropicana Casino and Resort in Atlantic City offers decent rooms, with the quality depending on the amount spent. The service and upkeep were better before Caesar's Resorts took over. However, it (Read More) still remains a great place to spend time, with lots of good bars, night life, and dining options. The location is convenient, being right off the beach and with access to the boardwalk. Some drawbacks mentioned include the need for room updates, long check-in lines, and disappointing views. The overall ambiance and amenities, such as the comedy club, were praised.

Disappointing

Good boardwalk location

Horrible, cheap suite. Was like staying in a poorly furnished office. Total waste of money and very cheap layout. Living room had a cafeteria-type table with a TV, one cheap couch, 2 kitchen chairs and a cheap coffee table. Bedroom had no furnishings at all except the bed. No chairs, no couch, only one bedside end table. Very disappointing for an expensive nightly rate. Should NOT be advertised as a Suite.

Would have been nicer with a cleaner bathroom.

The view was nice and the bed was comfortable.

The bathroom was not clean. There were feces stains on the commode.

This outdated facility was very unkempt for a casino hotel.

The bed was comfortable and the view was pretty good.

The bathroom drawers were dirty and there were strands of hair stuck to the shower wall. The shower itself was low-flow, which made our showers take twice as long.
