We stayed here as we traveled by boat for the Harvest Moon regatta. Staff was super friendly and everything met our expectations.

A vent in bathroom, after a shower or just using the rr it gets hot and steamy real fast.

Comfortable cottage that requires transportation to local attractions.
Friendly, helpful staff. Spacious cottage with good wifi and decent kitchen and laundry facilities. Easy access (by car) to local attractions such as wildlife refuges.
Located a long way from the beach; too far to walk almost anywhere. Cottage felt dated; furniture has seen better days.

Overall good.
There were several really good things. The pool is nice, the staff very friendly (especially James) and the bed was comfortable. On the not so good side, the couch was old and stained, there was build up and rust around the bathroom faucets, the blankets and pillows were below quality and we had trouble with all three TV's (though three was nice). It also needs to be updated.

GREAT FAMILY FUN!!!
Owner/Management was exceptional! Ms. Tammy helped my young daughter prepare extra special treats to surprise me for my birthday. Felt like being with family! I was especially grateful for the kindness and feeling of safety provided by staff with my 9 year old!
The ONLY thing I didn't love were the beds. They were uncomfortable for my personal taste. That said, they were extremely clean and appeared new.

Pay a little extra and stay at a better place.

Its old and musty. There were loud drunk people outside our room after 11 pm as we tried to sleep. We complained to mgmt. When we complained to mgmt a second time because it continued, the drunk and mad security/owner or manager showed up at our door banged on it, and told the drunk group that we had complained about them as we answered the door. Being a veteran felony prosecutor with 26.5 years under my belt, I know how quickly situations like this can escalate so we checked out and went to a nice hotel - we had a 7 year old child with us and this was scary to him. This property then charged me for that night plus the two additional nights of our reservation so I had to call booking.com and they called the property and the property agreed to refund me only the two nights stay. I have video of all this but this site does not have posting of videos as an option. Again, pay a little extra to stay at a much better place. This was just a place to sleep for my brother and his son as we also had our Airstream at Gulfwaters RV resort.
