Guests were delighted with the stunning views of St Ives and the spacious, immaculate rooms at Tregenna Castle Resort. Despite dated decor, the charming atmosphere, easy parking, and relaxing setting (Read More) slightly removed from town were highlights. One guest enjoyed a lovely stay in a cottage with spacious rooms and pleasant staff. Overall, the resort was praised for its friendly welcome, beautiful setting, and access to town.

not good as we were pretty much confined to our room

breakfast was good but my girlfriend had pneumonia so pretty much confined to the room we wanted to cancel because of her illness but tregenna wouldn't allow it , we will not be returning again

the fact that we couldn't book for a later date due to illness and pretty much ruined the whole trip , it wasn't like they had no guests at the place ,and we weren't able to enjoy the place or facilities on offer, told they were short staffed just before arrival so room wasn't cleaned at all

Magical

What an incredible place... The minute we drove through the barrier where we were greeted with a smile by a gentleman who checks your name against the reservation list to the minute we checked out we were treated like royalty. The whole place is immense, whilst driving up the drive to the hotel you are spoilt with views overlooking St Ives and the sea whilst admiring the immaculately kept gardens on site. The check in was seamless, our room was lovely and a generous size. The breakfast were fantastic with plenty of variety and we also booked in for a Sunday Roast on the afternoon of New Years Eve and that was beautiful. We were a 15 minute walk into St Ives which we did twice a day on a daily basis. Thank you for giving us a wonderful experience, we will definitely return.

Hotel was comfortable but not sure it was worth the money I paid to stay.

Room was clean but a little on the small size. All staff were polite and friendly. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.

There was no heating in the bathroom and the shower ran cold for about 5 minutes before only getting slightly warm. Used the swimming pool but that wasnt very warm and the rain leaked through the glass roof. The hotel does look tired and could do with a bit of work in places.

Good break but the cost to what we had is not worth it, was easy to walk in to St Ives.

The breakfast was great, the bed was very comfy and room size was good. The bathroom was also great and had plenty towels

The car park although on site and free to guests for a hotel of this standard it lets it down, the car park is not tarmac and has not got any marked spaces, it was also very wet and full of puddles as drainage was not good. Also although we had booked a room without a view of the sea, we appeared to be in the basement with no outlook l except to the an area that was in use for the cleaners, would have been better if at least looked out on car park or grounds, think we were put in what was probably in the past the servant quarters, not good for this time of hotel, the cost should have been less

It was ok for a short stay

The room was large location was ok it was clean had tea coffee and biscuits 2 have if you wonted them it was ok room for a few day break I would not stay for more than a three day break was bout it

The bit that put me of my stay was the heating ing the very large bedroom worked the first night but not the second our Thursday so when we came in after being out it was very cold we had no hot water in our room our in my daughters rooms if you wonted hot water you had 2 run all the taps for a long time 2 get some the light switch in our bathroom was difficult 2 use and the hot water tap was lose
