Overall a great stay is a beautiful well kept building.
Location and atmosphere. Service was friendly except one person at the spa. We really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of the spa facility but not that we could not re- enter later. Once you leave you cant go back in it is policed at the door. Its a bit unwelcoming and awkward as you enter and are questioned if you are able to be there or pay. It was included in our room but we still were made uncomfortable. The other staff were amazing.
The shower would not stay on the hand held hook. The door kept alarming.

Great location but too expensive for what it offers.
The location and the spa was quite nice.
Staff was not friendly, especially in the spa area. Also was not that clean, furniture is old and teared, curtains were dirty, although I asked for a double bed I got to twins which were uncomfortable.

Location was great, but not a 5 star hotel at all.
The location was perfect. We loved the area and it was convenient to everything. Very safe and loved that there was a little store across the street that sold water, sodas, and snacks. Tons of restaurants across the street and within a 5-10 minute walk. The park was across the street and it was a nice walking area. The hotel breakfast was good. Fresh orange juice and coffee/lattes to order. Food was plentiful and many options. The only issue is that the staff didn't know if items contained pork or not and it took awhile to get confirmation of which items were pork vs turkey. Also, I'm sure the outdoor pool is nice, but if it's winter, you only have the option of the indoor pool that costs $25 per person each time you use it. This is not something you find in a 5 star hotel. My son was upset that he was unable to use the pool because of the age restriction and the baffling $25 usage charge.
This is definitely not a 5 star hotel. Unsure how they received that status and maintain it. We have stayed in many 5 star hotels around the world, and this wasn't close. We would call it 3.5 or 4 star at the most. Decor was very dated, rooms were sparse. Pillows were old and flat. Carpets were old. Floors creaked loudly and doors barely closed without effort. Walls were paper thin. You literally could hear every word of your neighbor's conversation and when they were watching TV, it felt like the speakers were next to your head. The TV had old blu ray DVD player that didn't work, and even though they offered internet TV, the TV didn't connect to the internet. Again, this is something you would find in a low budget motel room, not a 5 star hotel. The room did not offer a kettle, water, alarm clock and other typical items you would find in a 5 star hotel. No USB ports. Very little drawer space. The shower was installed oddly, so instead of the shower head being at the front of the bath tub, it was installed on the side, so when taking a shower, you had to stand sideways. Water got everywhere. The biggest issue was no AC. So, the hotel claims to have AC in all of the rooms. Actually, the AC and heat is controlled by the front desk and is by floor, not room. So the hotel staff decides if you get AC or heat. Athens has had unusual higher temperatures this December, yet the heat was still on. I asked how to control the unit as we wanted the AC on (to get some cool air circulating in the room as it was so stuffy with the hot air blowing and no air coming in). We were told it is winter and the other guests want the heat. I was also very rudely told to "open a window", and that having separate HVACs in each room was too expensive.

    Very good
It was OK but left a bad taste after the hotel refused the cancellation of one night.
    Location.
Rooms in the front are noisy; no USB ports, bathrooms need a makeover. Baths tubs are slippery when taking a shower. Even though prior to arriving at the hotel I shortened my stay by one night through Booking.com. The hotel refused to accept this. My reason for cancelling was due flight changes for travel to Hong Kong.

    Nice, but was expecting more.
Location is nice if you need to be in the Northern Suburbs of Athens. Close to nightlife, and walking distance to a great shopping area.
No parking within the hotel, a garage is available close-by which was not ideal. The hotel is quite old, and that's OK - the room being old brings an old-fashioned aesthetic. However, the bathroom could definitely use a rennovation.
