The Westin Minneapolis was a great choice for a first-time visit. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the hotel itself was beautiful. The staff, including Shabraye, was fantastic and made the s (Read More)tay enjoyable. The only complaint was the high chlorine levels in the hot tub. The rooms were basic and lacked a view, but the lobby and bar were impressive. Parking was convenient in an adjoining ramp. Overall, a reasonably priced hotel for a holiday weekend.

Disappointing

Have stayed at property for 10+ years, sad to see it in such a state of disarray. Steer clear until problems are resolv

Location

Property has not been maintained and staff is not given proper resources to run a 4 star property. Hot water in 2 of 3 rooms did not exist. Boiler problems - no notification given and violates basic standards and most likely public health regulations. Hotel is also overrun with drug users and panhandlers. Some sleeping in public places for long periods of time. These people have direct access to guest floors without any security in place. Completely unacceptable and dangerous for families.

A very nice place to stay - Great location to Armory.

Spacious Rooms - great location to the Armory. Lobby bar was quiet and nice. Staff was very accommodating and helpful!

The bed was firm. Parking Garage is not fun to navigate to and from with luggage.

Exceptional

Excellent. Staff was friendly- room was impressive. Beds were typical for hotels. Shower was amazing

We were attending for a concert. The line to check in was big- it took 30+ minutes to get to the check in part. They haad 3 people checking in but it was a slow process. We did walk by other hotels in the area that had same very long check in lines as well (maybe that's normal for big events?)

Nice Room but no shampoo, lotions in bathroom

The bar drinks were not good, The buffet was not good esp onsidering the price. The valet was very slow and not clear at all where to find then or the best way to find them.

I had booked this hotel for my colleagues who were travelling on business. There feedback was that The Hotel was run down and definatley not worth the very expensive room rate . There was no hot water for a shower and when this was mentioned to Reception it was advised that it takes 10-15 mins for the water to get hot on the higher floors!

Grandson's first football game!

The hotel is part of an old bank, and the dining room is in the old bank lobby, which is nice. Meals were good, a bit $$$$. But Thomas our waiter made it worthwhile, always smiling and happy to help you decide. All of the staff were always kind and ready to assist in any way. Location is close to US Bank Stadium, we were there for football game. Parking garage across street from hotel. Rooms were clean, comfortable, need some updating. Pool was big hit for grandson.

I booked and paid for 2 executive double rooms and only received 1, the other 1 was a standard double room and not close together, we were 4 floors apart. No fast food close by, all are closed on weekends, including Starbucks and Caribou's.

Superb

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel.

We loved bed the historic building and the comfort of the beds/linens.

We would have appreciated a microwave in our room. And free parking wouldve been great.

Good

I wish the internet was easy to access so I can play video games online it was complicated and difficult so I ended up not using it but I for sure know now that I have to bring my own internet box or something to enjoy the place fulfilling.
