Location and nice view to Hamburg port

- Entrance to hotel is garage entrance. Look like very cheap hotel. They have no direct entrance to hotel, the guest have to go in to garage entrance and take lift to reception. - We booked room with port view, there is 1 small window in this room. Its not sound proof. We heard the wind sound all day and night, cant sleep well. We informed the receptionist, he said he will fix problem, but it was the same wind noise when we came back in the evening. They offered to change the room but too much for us to pack and unpack again. - Toilet smelled ammoniac, look like not so good cleaning. - 5* hotel but there are no small necessary hygiene set in the bath as cotton swap to clean ears, no shower cap, They only supply shower gel, shampoo, hair conditioner, hand cream. Thats all. Totally its kind of disappointed for famous hotel with high price.

The elegance and proximity to the concert hall, the Plaza and the staff service were all excellent.

No view and power point only on one side of the bed.

Nice hotel, poor gym!

Good breakfast, clean comfortable room. Location was good for me but far from centre.

No hot water for my entire stay 4 nights! This was compensated for with free breakfasts. The gym has a fair selection of aerobic machines and what looks like a nice pool. However, the weight room is a joke !!! If back in Hamburg, I would not stay here because of the very poor gym.

Disappointing stay in Hamburg

The view lived absolutely up to expectations.

The lack of staff in the reception. That a spouse cannot check in on behalf of both of us even with legitimation. That you could not get any service using the telephone in the room.

small but comfortable rooms

staff and service (other than breaksfast) was the worst i have encountered for a supposedly premium property. front desk, housekeeping were below par unprofessional and totally untrained. our room was only cleaned at 7pm after numerous calls. just shocking
