The GRAND ELYSEE Hamburg is a charming hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is perfect. The hotel also offers a great spa and fitness center (Read More). It's a great choice for those attending conferences at the CCH. Located in a peaceful and green area near water, it offers a central but calm location. The food and service are excellent and there are no complaints to be found.

Favourite Hamburg Hotel

Nothing fancy or extraneous, just a high quality conventional hotel, professional/friendly staff, very clean, excellent location (fringed by parks/greenery) and an outrageously good breakfast.

Staff were friendly , big lobby with nice atmosphere and a lot to offer .not far from train and bus station.

Uncomfortable washroom odour in the room was since the check in .Thought will get red of it by flashing water cause its maybe not used for a while .but doesnt work .very expensive and breakfast was not included, no welcoming drink ,chocolate or water bottle .

Would love to stay there many more times

The Elysee is a wonderful hotel. Management thought of absolutely everything one could wish. From the size of the corridors to the comfort of the room. Every thing is super clean, generous and quiet. On rainy days the red awning on the windows make the room glow rather than looking gloomy. All 3 restaurants have perfect staff and wonderful food. The bar and cafe area near reception is wonderful as well.

I have a bit of trouble with the bird cage. The birds are virtually invisible because outside their home is all the greenery they probably would love to sit in instead of the bare cage the live in. Not fair and an outdated idea.

Disappointing

We had to wait an hour for our room to be ready. Then the room was not clean and smelled quite bad. The front desk staff was nice and let us change rooms to a cleaner one that did not smell. The breakfast staff was not friendly.
